Is there a reset on your player? It would be a tiny hole that you could insert a paper clip in to push a tiny button in the player. Do this lightly if there is such a hole. The manual would tell you if there is one or not.

This is basically a reset button for your player, and it will should restore the original settings. Then your files might re-appear though if the problem is more serious, they may not. Either way you haven't lost anything by trying.

Check you manual or look for the player's manual on line to see if you have a reset function. Most players have them. And if you do this, do it lightly and keep the paper clip as straight as possible so as not to damage the innards of your machine. Good luck.

Music player was not starting

if the memmory is full it won't start clear the phone memmory then restart

Connect your phone to pc using oxycube . Browse the path, c:/hiddenfolder/ you will find a file by name music.db or mmc.db (mmc here does'nt refers to memory card) and DELETE that file. Now remove ur phone from pc and restart ur phone. Now, your music player will be ready. When you restart, the file you deleted will be created again, with normal functionality. That file is a chief file for running the musicplayer in s40 phones like 3110Classic. I think it is an m3u media list file, but i am not sure about file type of the file i mentioned. For 3110 i think it is music.db, but may change for other s40versions.
[NOTE: If you are unsure or you are a beginner, before deleting that file, make a backup copy, and then proceed]

and dont forget to thank me if you manage to get things right 16x16_smiley-happy.gif

How to reduce downloads in computer memory.

I noticed while perusing memory files that every download was still in memory, (loading it up!)!

After 6 or 7 years of watching this happen, I now have a technique to reduce one time downloads in Memory.

When the window asks if the name of the file is what I want it saved to, I highlight everything ahead of the period, (dot), and make the new name of the file "Delete". Same thing to the next download, so it overwrites the last one.

There are a half dozen or more suffixes used to save files to, so you will wind up with the same half dozen or more "Delete.sompthin" files, but that is better than the hundreds that can collect.

You could use any name, like Fubar, or A, or 12, doesn't matter. Just save any junk download by the same name as the last one.

Uninstall acid music 7.0 will not uninstall says invalid drive e:

For this sort of thing, it's often easier to just delete the files for the program from "C:/Program Files/Sony". Then download CCleaner and use it to delete the "Uninstall Program" entry.

My samsung intensity phone won't display all of the music on my memory card. I have an 8gb memory cardtat isnt even half full and my phone only shows about 60% of whats on it. Can someone help me?

connect it to pc through data cable
or you can use a card reader
firstly drop all your music files in sounds/music folder
if the problem still remains then your music files might have bigger names rename them to small names by removing un necessary words

Getting music on to my KG800 mobile phone

I had the same thing with my KF510 but I don't know if it will be the same with your phone. When you connect the phone via the USB cable you will see two removable drives in My Computer ( I have Windows XP) one is the phones internal memory the other is the memory stick.
Drag and drop the MP3 files onto the memory stick - BUT - make sure you drag the files onto a folder in the drive not just onto the drive icon as if they are not in a folder ( on mine the folder is called Sounds) the phone won't find them.
To see the folders on the drive icon just double click the icon or right click - explore.
Hope this helps you.

How do you delete music files?

You can manually delete music thru My Computer>Device Name>Music Folder. If you are using Windows Media Player, on the left side you can click on the device name>music and delete them there. You can add to this question for further assistance. Best of Luck.
