same problem with bosch Nexxt 6300. Cleaned filter repeatedly and cleaned moisture sensor - no help.

  • Anonymous Oct 08, 2008

    Mine has the same problem.

I was wondering if you ever need to take off the rear of the drum (If you open the door and look inside, there is a silver panel screwed on the back) and get the lint out of there.

We have the same lint-filter alarm going off and we have cleaned and cleaned the filter! We did find and disconnect the sensor wires, but the dryer would not work at all so he had to reconnect them. I could tolerate the beeper if the dryer would run anyhow! Any other suggestions?

Check for wires near lint filter casing. these are the lint filter sensors, they could be defective that is why it always indicate a clean lint filter alarm,

Probably a lint buildup on the sensor. Need to clean the entire lint system. Should be able to remove the plastic frill if the lint filter is inside the drum. Remove the two screws and clean out all the lint then pull the dryer out remove the vent hose. Run a vacuum hose or reach up i to there and pull out the li t. Then clean out the vent hise...a broom handle works if it's a straight shot.

My estate dryer model #eed4400wqo

I suppose you want to clean the lint vent to outside. Clean out the filter first by removing the manual filter and pulling off all stuck lint. Try this link to clean the vent:

Why is clothes dryer heating, but not drying?

Be sure to check the lint trap in the front and also the lint vent in the back. That is the big hose in the back of your dryer. Take it off and then ensure a bunch of lint isnt stuck. Empty in trash cans. Also you can get a lent vent cleaner which is a long pole to clean vents on the roof and also in the hose and pipes. This is important to clean at least quarterly to avoid any possible fires.

I have a kenmore elite model 110.8586 or 8587 anyway I cleaned my lent screen put it back as I always do after every load and know it say check lint screen

Possibilities

The sensor is dirty..remove the lint trap and clean the orifice with a Swiffer duster. Dryer sheets can clog the lint trap use a tooth brush and detergent to clean the lint trap. Alternately see if it presents the same issue operating it without the lint trap. If you have an air compressor blow out the slot too. Make sure the main exit hose is cleared also *vent duct*. Tip the unit and blow the air in too.

Or a melting type fuse mounts on the blower housing and is tied into the same circuit as the door switch. When it melts it shuts down everything and this keeps the lint from catching fire.

Also check the belts.

You can turn off the beeping if you would like. Instructions are in the manual. By Pressing the buzzer button it has Loud medium low and off positions.

Remove the rear vent and try the unit...

I'm thinking that your sensor is probably the issue here.

you need to clean out the dryer.somewhere lint is blocking the air movement.pull off the vent line,if it's long blow it out with a leaf blower, then clean out the duct that the lint filter slides into and vac out the cabinet where the motor is.if it's gas you should do this once a year electric once every two years.

My dryer is heating fine but there is no air blowing out of the vent. Therefore, clothes are not drying properly. I have cleaned the lent filter, checked the outside and and inside vent for clogs or...

run the dryer with the vent hose off, if it drys correctly then it is in the vent tube. The best way to clean the vent hose is with a leaf blower, now if it is not drying with the vent hose off then you will need to disassemble the dryer, and clean from the bottom of the lint trap back to the back of the dryer with a brush(paint) and a vacuum:

Dryer has to run two or three times to dry clothes seem to be hot enought. any suggestions

Check your lint filter. Keep it clean every time you dry clothes. If it is clean ther is a good chance the hose that carries the hot air and lint from machine to the outside of the building. Also the lint fan may be burned ot. YOu should feel air blowing when you pull the lint filter out of the machine. If not the motor is shot.

My Amana NED7200TW dryer still shuts down with no power and after a couple minutes it will power up again. I checked the circuit breaker but the breakers were not tripped. Help!

Sounds like an internal over-temp thermostat is tripping. Usually, this is caused by near-zero air flow through the machine. Vacuum out the exhaust hose, the exit fitting from the house, and all of the dryer's interior air path that you can reach. Wash out the lint filter with detergent and HOT water as fabric softener deposits will plug the screen. Check the exterior vent for air flow while it's running--it should be fairly forceful (and hot!). Hope this helps!

Not drying clothes, heat is on, lots of moisture in dryer

hi there,

This is a classic sign that you need to unclog or improve the dryer venting to the outside of the building.

One of the most important functions of a dryer is the elimination of moisture recovered during the heating of damp clothing. A typical 12-pound load of laundry can weight as much as 20-pounds when first removed from a washer. The extra 8-pounds is water. That moisture is held as humidity in the warm air produced by the dryer and is normally expelled to the outdoors through the dryer's vent. If this air can not be adequately removed, poor drying will result.

This moisture can also condense into pools of water in the dryer vent, eventually leaking out. Moisture accumulation inside the dryer ducting is often a sign of poor venting which should be looked into

good luck!!
thanks

Dryer runs for long time and does not heat up to dry clothes

Check first to see if the lint filter is clean and the vent hose is clear. If the filter is clean, the vent hose is unblocked and not crimped, and the exterior vent is clear then you probably need to replace the heating element.
Hope this helps. Good luck.
