Question about John Deere 420,1020,2010,2020,2510,2520 Tractor Float
I have a John Deere 2010 Diesel that has the clutch / PTO locked for winter. I can't tow it out of the garage for service. How do I disengage This ''winter'' shut off swith for the clutch so the tractor can move? I think I accidentally hit the PTO drive lever while the Tractor engine was off. I tried to put the shifter in ''Tow'' position and pushed in the clutch, but the rear tires are still locked up. All of the linkages on the Dash do not seem to help.
I need to know the exact model of your tractor,if it is a 2010 then the range lever being put in neutral should be all that is needed unless the brakes are stuck on,which does happen if it has set with the park brake on for extended periods of time.Let me know what the model is and what you have tried and i will get back to you on the repairs you need and how to carry them out.
