Question about HP Computers & Internet
My HP won't shut down. I hold the button to try a hard shut down but it won't do that either. Do I need to open the computer itself for a restart?
Try this: Go to Control Panel-Display-Screen Saver-Power-Advanced tab and make sure that after the statement "When I press the power button on my computer" choose Shut down. Then turn off your pc with the power button (if it does not work unplug it, then try the button after Windows complete it's boot-up. Let me know how it went.

click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
