Connect it to itunes and restore.
if you cannot connect it to itunes try holding the power and home button until you see a disk and plug pop up the can take up to 2 mins so expect to hold them a long time. you have to keep holding the buttons the ipod will restart then again do not let go then you should be able to connect to itunes to restore

How do I delete pictures from my Ipod Touch

Hello,

steps on how to delete pictures from your i-pod touch are stated below. This will work with any iPod touch whether it be a 8gb or 16gb or 32gb. This will also work for both 1st gen and 2nd gen.

This is the first step and will definantly be the easiest. Take your link cable, and plug it into the notch into the computer. Take the end of your cable and plug it up into the I-pod. The side that has the gray circle on the cable will be plugged up face up.

This is the second step. Go into either internet explorer or safari and then go into your files. Go into the file that your store all of your pictures in on your iPod. Then delete the pictures you don't want on your iPod. Or move the pictures to a different folder.

This is the final step. Go into I-tunes and sync your folder with all of your pictures. It will remove the photos you deleted from your iPod.

Good luck.

My friend gave me a i pod and it does not let me lisiten to songs or record song

Make sure you've got a headphone in if Its a 1st gen since the 1st gen does have external speakers.
If that doesn't work then its an issue and thats probably the reason your friend gave it to you. :|

First gen i pod touch, white blank screen

  1. Back up your iPod Touch's data to your computer before the restore to prevent losing data. You'll need to reinstall it after the restore process.
  2. Connect to the internet and install the latest version of iTunes from the Apple website.
  3. Make sure your iPod Touch is connected to your computer.
  4. Pick "iPod Touch" in the Source pane of the iTunes program.
  5. Click on the Summary tab.
  6. Choose "Check for Update."
  7. Select "Restore" and follow the instructions to finish restoring your iPod Touch.
  8. Complete an Advanced Restore
  9. If following the steps in the previous section did not work, follow these steps to perform an advanced restore. Turn off the power on the iPod Touch.
  10. Plug the iPod Touch into your computer.
  11. Power on the iPod Touch.
  12. Press the "Home" and "Sleep/Wake" buttons together for 5 seconds until the Apple logo appears.
  13. Release the "Sleep/Wake" button but continue holding down the "Home" button. The iPod Touch should reboot, and iTunes will notice the iPod Touch in recovery mode.
  14. Return to the above section and follow those steps to restore your iPod Touch.
