No funciona av mode de mi laptop vaio vgn-tx790p con windows vista

AV Mode button on the Computer will not work if the Sony AV Mode Button Utility is missing or not installed correctly in the Computer.

To resolve the issue, you will need to re-install the Sony AV Mode Button Utility in the Computer.

You can view and download the AV Mode Button Utility from here.

Please download the file to a temporary download folder in the Computer. After that, please open the folder where the file is downloaded and double click the file to begin the installation.
Then, please follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation process. After installation, please restart the Computer for the settings to take the effect. This should fix the issue.

Best of luck.

Is the cmos battery on a vaio vgn-fe31m on the

Yes the cmos battery is on the motherboard.

Every motherboard that runs a computer has a backup battery to run the circuit while turned off. This battery runs the real-time clock (RTC) and is referred to as the CMOS battery. By keeping the clock active and running even when the computer is switched off, power up/down cycles can be logged and before the internet, your computer could keep dates accurately. It also serves to maintain the system configuration settings in BIOS memory based on RAM or FLASH RAM.

I want to replace the HD on my Vaio VGN-TX750P with a solid state drive. Is this a good idea?

sure it is, if you can find one that fits the space and give you at least the same amount of space.... solid state drives are expensive, but use less battery.

I have a sony vaio tx750p that is just completely dead, yet power is definitely going in. i want to open it up but can not find a manual to do so. also any suggestions on what the problem might be would...

Hummm.... are you SURE your supply is 100% OK? It's not enough to use a voltmeter to read the voltage... your voltage and supply need to be tested under load or with the laptop RUNNING or trying to run.

I'm curious to know if your laptop will run without the battery? Sometimes batteries get so bad the System won't start because the battery demand is so high and the supply shuts down!

So OK.... step-by-step here's a link that shows you a complete TX750P "tear-down"... I mean it's so complete the guy has the mother board in his hands... NOT for the weak of heart!

HUGE WARNING! Laptop s---ws are not always the same length! If you replace a short s---w with a longer s---w you MAY damage components below or some parts may not mount securely! They are the LENGTH they need to be... so use some method to keep track of where each came from.

I use just the bottom half of a egg carton (top cut off) and different colored felt pens to mark a few egg cups. A color dot on the metal chassis to match does the trick. A red black and blue marker should be enough...

Also the guy is shown using a slick tabletop ~ I do NOT recommend that... Work and disassemble on a soft towel so a dropped screw won't get lost in space! The towel does not need to be too thick ~ just enough to provide a soft working base and so you won't scratch your laptop covers!

VGN-Tx750p does not start up

The Operating System may have got corrupted. In this case, you may reinstall Windows using the VAIO Recovery Wizard, provided you've not changed the factory installed Windows Operating System.

The VAIO Computer is shipped with the VAIO Recovery Wizard housed in a 5 GB of hidden partition on the pre-installed Hard Drive.

Restart the Computer and keep tapping the F10 key until the VAIO logo appears to access the VAIO Recovery Wizard.

Follow the steps given in the link below to use the VAIO Recovery Wizard to reinstall Windows, Drivers and all the pre-installed applications.
