The first thing that you should do is to remove the battery from the phone and leave it out for 5 minutes. Then try turning the phone back ON and see if that would soft reset the phone.

Next is to try another battery. Though you can call or receive a call, we're not sure if your battery is working correctly and could provide enough power for the phone to operate properly.

Next, try to upgrade the firmware of the phone. You may need to contact the manufacturer for firmware upgrade because they know what version of firmware that would work best with your phone.

If you're done with the basics, then have the manufacturer or a local tech to replace the LCD or any defective components and that should not cost too much.

Good luck and have a good evening!

Power turns but screen stays black no

Sounds like you need a new LCD Screen(is the screen a little lit up or completely blank) If completely blank than most likely the LCD needs to be replaced if it appears to be slightly lit up than most likely it is a software related issue.

I had to take out and re-insert the battery of my HT Ozone phone. Now I get a white screen saying that I must press send to reboot it, however, I can't press send - it won't leave the white screen....

Many smart phones will have problems if you remove the battery without powering them off first. The easy fix for the state your phone is in is to run your battery down. If you get it to the point where it will auto power of anyway, and leave it like that for at least an hour with the battery in, it should reset the power management.

Htc ozone stuck on htc start up screen

Remove the battery while the phone is on. Hold down the power button for at least 30 seconds. Put the battery back in and press the power button. If your phone still hangs on the startup screen you may have a corrupt boot file. If your phone is still under warranty call your service provider and they will help you. If it is no longer under warranty contact HTC: 866-449-8358. I hope this helps.

My HTC Ozone is locked up again. cant even get it to start up. what do I do?

Step 1: Power down the phone. If your phone is already powered down, you may skip this step. Note: Removing the battery, while technically powering down the phone, is not the correct method to make the following steps work.

Step 2: With your left hand, press and hold the VOLUME DOWN button that is located on the side of the phone. Continue pressing the VOLUME DOWN button and press the SEND button. With both the VOLUME DOWN and SEND button pressed, use your right hand to press the POWER button.

Step 3: A gray screen will appear asking you three options. Pressing the VOLUME UP button on the side of the phone will be the correct option to hard-reset your phone to ROM default.

Step 4: Press SEND to verify choice.

G1 backlight shows but nothing else

Everything is working fine except the operating system (firmware). A clear case of corrupted firmware. Please get the firmware reinstalled. And you will find that all your problems have vanished. The reason could be a virus or incorrect switching off or powering it on on low battery when the phone switches off on its own. Anything. But reinstalling is the answer.
