Have you checked fuel filters? make sure that fuel shutoff valve is fully open, and that your fuel is clean/water-free,and hasn't cold-weather gelled

What causes very low power output 1994 cummins 5.9 diesel in bounder motorhome

It is possible to have a fuel injector that is stopped up or just faulty. One injector being faulty will cause the engine to idle rough or your turbo waste gate could be stuck you might have a stopped up fuel filter causing a restriction thus slowing the acceleration time down or even the air filter may need to be replaced? Any of these can be the culprit! First replace the fuel and air filter then you can bleed the injectors while the engine is running which only perform this if your engine is idling as if it were missing! It wouldn't hurt to have your truck put on a dyno if possible if not you can get a diagnostics computer to connect to your truck and with a passenger operating the diag cpu do an on road dyno test it will tell you what steps to take to test the performance of the drivetrain!

What is turbo charger

haha! turbo charger is a unique technology used automobiles. it will add more power, acceleration to your engine. Air fuel is burned inside engine to produce mechanical energy. Oxygen is the main part of burning fuel. if more amount of air, that means more amount of oxygen is supplied fuel will burn perfectly. more air means, there is no change in air fuel ratio. that means compressed air is mixed with fuel. compressed air contains more oxygen. how can we give compressed air? the exhaust air through silencer is diverted to chamber to rotate a turbine. turbine is connected with propeller that gives more air to the air filter. thus engine is turbo charged. only problem is engine is turbo power when propeller runs more 1 lakh rpm. also there is other method called super charger. in this a pulley is directly connected with crank. the pulley is connected with a propeller using a belt. thus propeller gives compressed air into air filter chamber. thanks

I have 2000 VW Jetta 1.8 turbo, my car stumbles on acceleration, but run smooth at idle. I removed the air intake from the mass airflow sensor and the car died. Is the turbo bad or do I have another...

If you remove the mass air flow sensor then the car is getting to much air and the reason that it is dying is that the ECU is set for the engine to run with a specific air to fuel ratio, and if you have removed the breather element. or air filter then that can cause the slow or sluggish acceleration.
