I dont have a solution but i need to know why my system wont go above 41 on volume its supposed to go up to 50 but has only done that once or twice

  • Anonymous Oct 05, 2010

It depends on your level settings...if you put all the settings to "Flat" or "0" you will obtain the volume level designated "50" The reason for this, or rather what I assume the reason for this, is so that you are less likely to overheat/damage the amplifier IC...though, I've found with the one my mom has, that I had bought for her a few years back, it will shut itself down if I'm playing some bass-heavy music at high volumes, which, I figure is a type of thermal protection for the amplifier IC, but, I plan to take the cover off, and check out the heat sink/cooler on the IC to see if it needs cleaning, such as the cooler for a computer's CPU will routinely need...

Rca rt 2770 programming. My fm radio stations

You can manually program a station by pressing AM/FM to get to the correct radio band. Then tune in a station with the Tuner +/- (the left/right arrow) buttons on the remote. Next press Memory (just below 7) and then a number on the keypad. The number must be entered before the Program Preset number stops blinking. (For FM you can use some 2 digit numbers.) To scan through the stations in memory use the Channel +/- buttons on the remote or the Next/Previous track buttons on the RT2770. You could fill all of the memory slots automatically by pressing and holding the AM/FM button for two seconds. The unit will store the stations that it tunes in in order until the memory slots are full. Note: you do need to have the FM antenna and AM loop antenna connected (and extended for the FM antenna).

Retrevo has the manual for the RCA RT2770 available here: http://www.retrevo.com/support/RCA-RT2770-Home-Theater-Systems-manual/id/2869dj191/t/2/ . You will need to enter a code to download the PDF.

I hope this helps.

Possible this is a shut down due to a protection cut off.
Need to check the outputs and the power supply to confirm,

Help

I cannot find any way of doing this from looking at either manual for the remote or the theater. It is my understanding that RCA makes "smart remotes" that supposedly recognize and control other RCA components, but I have no idea how this works. My suggestion is to read the manuals and maybe find something I didn't or contact RCA Customer Service.
