Question about Optoma MovieTime DV10 Multimedia Projector

1 Answer

Power gets lost every 2-3 minutes. Then might return very soon, or after several minutes. Only when i restart every time for several hours, it seems to be 'warm enough' finally. Can i do anything about this behaviour?

Our Panasonic Viera 46

Seems like a hardware problem. Something is probably overheating or something like that.

I would suggest either returning/exchanging the TV (2 wks is usually in most return policies) or if you can't do that, register your TV with panasonic. After registering, call them up for service covered by your 1 yr warranty.

We did not get a solution in the chat room. So we returned the unit to Costco and things are fine with the new unit although the return guy seem surprised that the fault could be in the unit itself. Thanks anyway.. Do we get that refund?

Try turning the power off at the breaker for 12 hours.

I had the same problem, tried turning the power off for a few minutes but that did not fix the problem.

Leaving the power off overnight seems to have fixed it.
