Go to Main Menu > settings > system > Regional Settings - Change the location here.

*If you have the problem still then try doing the hard reset in the same location. Once the phone restarts, then specify your region and language.

For no reason try to reflash your phone or you will ruin it. follow as it is

°first make sure handset is off
°press the power button
°as the word SAMSUNG starts to appear press and hold the LEFT SOFTKEY and the RETURN KEY (the cirved arrow next to the power key)
°when the REBOOT MENU comes up PRESS OPTION #1 and the screen will turn pink and say its formattiing and thats it!

THE HANDSET RESTART SLOWER THAN USUAL! Dont worry thats because it resetting back to factory default settings.

ok.connect your phone to the pc then pick all items that you dont want to delete and put them on the pc.theen format your memory card and then transfer items you picked up to your memory.

you need to do a factory restore/ system restore. or you can try  and find the files through google of you dont want to reset the system.

go to either main menu or start. from there proceed to settings, personal, today, then check the "use this picture as the background" box and hit browse. use the file browser and select your desired photo!
