The capacitors on the power supply are the cause of your problems. This model is well known to have issues with the power supply board. Here is a picture of the power supply board with the problem capacitors circled.
And here is a link to a parts kit of capacitors to do the repair.

I have a Samsung LN40A450 LCD TV 42 that is only a year and two months. No power to the tv only a consistent blinking red light.
I solve my problem, changing , 2 - 10Vx1000Mfd ectrolitic capacitors of the power supply.
My TV is OK.
