Look for a travel converter or 240v to 110/120v converter usually the adapter will plug into ur outlet and the charger[or whatever] plugs into the adapter and can convert the power down to the lower i have used mine every time i go to europe the adapters cost between 10 and 15 dollars mine is a one piece multi-use 8 different outlet designs- its easier than rewiring the charger

Bosch charger not charging

Its sounds simple but always worth a try, clean all the contacts on the charger, one will read the condition of the battery, If this is dirty, it may not be giving a strong enough signal to the charger and as such it will interpret the battery as faulty.

I've got a Bosch ps30 drill that uses bat411

Directions say green light indicates that the battery is fast charging only,it does not indicate at exact point of full charge. I let my batteries charge for 12 hours for the first time charging, found out myself the same way. Try that and you will notice the difference.

Should a commutator fall of my motor after 14 mths of use if my 36volt drill is built tough.

It is possible, but normally something else should fail first if the problem was due to heavy loading. If a segment has come out of the commutator, it sounds more like a manufacturing fault, if a wire or the segment is burnt then if could be from running at low speeds and high chuck loading.

How to fix drill that has no power?

Order the parts you need from Home Depo, they have what you need to fix this problem. check to see if you were using the right battery if it never worked you may need to buy another drill or go even further and open the drill up to see what the problem is inside. Check your brushes, trigger, all connections.

I bought a battery charger from the usa, had to change the plug, does it matter which 2 wires go where, only it doesnt work at all now

The most common power in the USA is 115VAC 60Hz. Most of Europe (Spain included) is 220VAC 50Hz. Can you say ZAP! Boys and girls?
The internal components are not rated for the voltage you applied. A European charger in the USA might work but probably only half the expected output. With the correct charger the batteries get DCV and work in both countries,

Bought 2 no BTD142 impact drivers from Makita USA got drop down transformer they just start to charge then tones for broken battery are heard and stop charging, transformer new, batteries new have i done...

these newer chargers do make a tone that can be changed. when the batterys are initially inserted they will make a sound and then when they are fully charged they will make another usually longer sound. you can change it by removing the battery with 5 seconds and reinserting until you find the sound that you like.. I would look at the charging lights before deciding the charger or battery are bad.

How long do I charge my 18 v PSR bosch cordless drill for as it only has a green light on it and it stays on when I put the drill onto the charger

about 180 mins or an hour and a half. if the light does not change, just make sure you put it properly on the charger base and time it for charging. Disconnect it after you are done. Usually, the light on the charger is just an indication that it is powered on.

I have a Skil 2362 7.2v drill that goes dead when charged

Sounds like the trigger switch is bad. If you know the charger is good and it is charging the battery, then it must be the switch. I suggest you take the charged battery and test it with a multimeter for the 7.2V. If the battery is dead, then check the charger.
Take it back to Lowes and get a different brand.
