Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

How Can I have yahoo advertising entries removed from screen

Yahoo requires some form of income to fund the free mail services it offers, which is why they display advertisements in the free version of their email app. You can not disable these ads in the free version. You can upgrade to their premium email service called Yahoo Ad Free Mail. More info here:

Yahoo mail acount does not function on verizon network at work. When I try to access my yahoo account at work (Verizon dsl) It does not work or it opens one page and then hangs, but when I take my laptop...

Hello,

security settings may prevent your access at work. Not all companies are permitting the access. If this is not the case your should request to have your internet access profile adjusted at your helpdesk.
Also check with your collegua that has a working access to yahoo or other provider the settings he made in his webbrowser.

Success!

When you click on the home icon that is taking you to your homepage (Yahoo! is generally the default). IE isn't the greatest browser, anyway...try downloading Firefox. It's a lot better.

Getting online

The phone jack on your laptop is used for Dial-up only, i.e.… AOL, EarthLink, etc….
If you’re trying to connect to the internet via Verizon DSL, then you need to connect to a DSL modem just like your PC is. On your laptop you’ll find another jack similar to a phone jack but a little bit wider. This is a 10/100 Base T connection used for Broadband or Hi-speed internet that you will use to connect to your DSL. If you want, you can take the internet cable from the back of your PC and try plugging it in to your laptop. You will need to power OFF and ON the DSL modem you that it will search for the IP (internet protocol) address of your laptop.
Hope this helps. If you have any other questions please contact me.
