Hello jernlyn,
If your machine is A FAV6800A or FAV9800A most times this is a Clutch malfunction. Dose a Spin Only Cycle complete with no clothes in the wash Basket?
If your machine is one of the above I can help you DIY the repair. See this Clutch Fix Post . Most DIY folks can perform and I will help you with any questions or concerns. If you decide to DIY what are the 1st two digits of your serial number? They will 10 thru 17.....Rich

I have a ge profile oven model starts pt 916 when i broil food the "locked" light flashes, i usually keep the oven door open so i can watch the food after about 5 min the locked light goes off

The only thing spring to mind Mary is that you somehow selected a cleaning cycle which superheats the oven and turns burnt on fat and grease to charcoal. The cleaning cycle never finished and the stove remembers it. The light is flashing to remind you. When the cleaning cycle is in progress, the door locks until it is finished.

Either remove the wall power plug or flip the breaker and leave it overnight. It _should_ erase it from the memory. Or you have to compete the cleaning cycle as per the instruction book.

Wont Finish Spinning stops and Flashed DC

If the machine type is a FAV6800A/FAV9800A see this Clutch repair post if you want to DIY. You will find links to the Service Manual and parts info if needed.

You can check out the TDS but I would go right to the Clutch repair post if the machine shuts down in with a error code dC or uC.

That means the TDS is producing analog voltage swings +3.5VDC to 0VDC to the input of the Control Board Conn_P3 pins 10 and 11. Those DC voltage swings are at the design limit of max Wash Tub movement and the Control Board shuts the Spin Cycle down……..so thebTDS is working as designed.

The machine will make several attempts to redistribute the load before error code generation failing with dC or uC error codes.

Post back if you have questions any DIY'er with basic skill sets can do the Cluch maintenance/repair.....Rich

If your machine is a FAV6800A or FAV9800A I think you have a clutch malfunction See the last couple of post in this forum related to dc errors or the many hundreds of post related to this issues. If you can confirm the model type for me. So many folks post non FAV6800A and FAV9800A T/L issues in this forum. If it's that model I will come back to you with the DIY process to save your machine and you $$$ over a repair bill. If you don't want to DIY the fix I will give you info to speed the repair and control cost somewhat.....Rich

Washer won't finish cycle, flashes "dc"

sounds like the timer/selector switch may be shorting out or faulty. You can test the wires to and from it with an ohmmeter.
A faulty water pump could also cause this but not as common

LOAD WONT FINISH KEEPS SAYING DC

If the clutch fails the first thing noticed is a UC or DC error displayed and there is no drain or spin.
If you are seeing the above error and having a problem with spin and drain then the most likely cause of this is the clutch.

The clutch fails to lock down the spinners and the basket is unable to go into spin and without a 90 RPM there is no drain.

Replace the clutch.

MAH 2400 AWW flashing error code "dc"

Hi Pepsi,
"dc" means that the control board is trying to ramp up (that is, send a signal to the motor controller), but has encountered an unbalanced load and so shuts down. Specifically, "dc" means "distribute clothes".

I took this opportunity to upload a Tech and Troubleshooting manual for you. Here is the link for it. Read it carefully. You will be required to perform a "board output" test after placing the machine in "Service Mode".

I gotta tell ya, though. Based on my history with these, I highly suspect that the machine control board has failed. Let me know what you find, OK?

(And don't forget to rate this solution as "FixYA!", deal?
