Try setting the volume on the level you want, they push in the volume knob for about 20 secs until you hear a beep.

I have put a boss in-dash dvd player iny car and i ran the bypass parking brake wire to the ground wire, and it plays but when i start my car a whizzing like static noise. And everytime i press the gas it...

That is static off the motors electrical's system. Go to a radio shack and get a noise suppressor the positive end go on the positive end of the radio and the negative end go to ground this will bleed off the static just like a capacitor in a power supply. Ask one of the old guys at Radio Shack.

Make a ipod work on a panasonic cq-vd6505u

Ensure you have this cable (Panasonic Car Audio CA-DC300U iPod Connection Cable for Panasonic Car Stereos) or if you are wanting to put a Ipod with video you will need the CA-VDC300U. The cable plugs directly into the back of the radio or to the CYEM-100U expansion module. Once the cable is plugged in and the radio is installed (if you hooked the cable up to the back of the radio) turn your car on so the radio works, when the radio comes on hit your source button that allows you to switch between the DVD player and the radio. You should now see a button that shows your Ipod. This will allow you to control your Ipod through the radio and the cable will ensure you Ipod is always charged. This should work if you have the correct cable...I actually just hooked up my Ipod to the exact same radio today using the CA-VDC300U and the expansion module.

Bypassing ebrake to play dvd's always

Take the emergency brake wire and hook it to a switch,( they cost like 2 bucks at radio shack) Connect that wire to one end of the switch and the other ground under your dash. When you start it all you have to do is flip that switch on then off and your in business. I have almost always seen everyone mount it on the kicker panel on the left side of the center console. You don't have to conceal the switch but i wouldn't put itt out in plain sight. let me know if we get the problem solved

Speakers & Ipod

Not sure which ipod you are using but be sure to use the backlight on the ipod (always on) when you have it connected. It eliminates certain noise heard in the background. Also be sure the level is calibrated how you need it, turn up or down the input level using the SLA adjustment from the sound menu item. It allows you do adjust from as much as +4 louder or decrease it as low as -4. You might either have the signal being too low or too loud causing clipping. Also be sure your ipod has updated firmware, there are certain fixes that address battery, hard drive noise, etc on the units. It may also be your ipod has issue, try using it in someone else's vehicle or try it on another dock connector to test the levels there.

My dash didn't save radio channels? what i have to do?

If you leave the radio off for too long, or if the car battery dies, it will not have the power to store the radio channels and you will have to save them again. If neither of these has happened then it may be down to a small battery inside the radio that is used to keep the radio channels saved on the chipset of the radio that is not holding a charge. Or it may be a small faulty memory module on the radio that will not allow you to save the radio channels - in which case, check your warranty on the item and return it if it is under warranty.
