I can't connect to any wireless networks with my intel 3945abg wireless card. it worked fine yesterday. it shows no networks available. i've reinstalled the driver's, tried a restore thinking it was a bad...

It might sound stupid, but if you have an IBM/Lenovo laptop, it is possible that the antenna is turned off. These laptops have either a software or hardware switch (or both) to turn the antenna off completely.

(Other notebooks have that too, of course...)

Can you confirm that this is not the case?

If you need help on how to check that - please let me know and tell me which computer you have.

Also - make sure that the card is active in your Device Manager.
Again: if you need help how to find that - let me know and we'll figure it out.

You should push the FN key down while pushing the F2 key. This will enable the wireless if you have that option installed.

Wireless network

Hi xiomaravlz. To turn on the wireless for your Toshiba Satellite, there is a switch on the very front of the laptop. Up where the headphone jack is. When you turn it on, you should see a light beside it.
Hope this helps!

Can't find the wireless antenna on my msi u100 series laptop

Not really sure what you are expecting. The wireless antenna is within the computer--you won't see it.
What you will need to do is to turn the wireless networking on. This is done in some computers with a small switch on the case (in this case, there is usually a light that comes on when you turn the switch on). In other cases, you will have to use the Fn key plus one of the special function keys at the top of the unit (has a picture representing a wireless connection on it--possibly something like an antenna).
If this fails, go into your network connections and see if the wireless connection is actually turned on. If you have Vista, this is sorta easy as you click on "connect to" and then choose "wireless network"
