Everytime im on facebook a couple minutes it kicks me out says facebook is not responding i hit ok it lets me right back in and does it all over again why does it do that and how do i fix it

Without any further background, I'll be taking a stab in the dark. I have seen this behavior on facebook before and the cause was too much latency in the internet connection; that can be caused by a slow connection from the ISP (internet service provider), a gummed up router, or a poor wireless connection. Therefore, if you are using a wireless connection, try to establish a better connection ( move the computer or wireless router so there is line of sight between them or less things between them); if not wireless then try resetting all of the network hardware between your ISP and your computer (modem, router, switch).

Facebook and gmail are web based and shouldn't be affected by which programs are on your computer. Unless you accidentally deleted a browser, like Internet Explorer, Safari, Chrome or Fireworks.

If Google mail is not loading, I suggest checking your wireless connection, and trying again. If you are on a mac, look up to the right top corner and see if they stripes shaped like a fan are full, click on it to make sure you are linked to your correct wireless. (sometimes my computer accidentally tries to link to a neighbor's wireless, which it can't connect to). So I simply have to find my own wireless from the dropdown and wait till it reconnects. Once you are fully connected to the internet, gmail should load.
Go to: gmail.com and login
similarly, go to facebook.com and login to get into facebook.

Best of luck!

How to activate facebook without wifi?

Accessing Facebook needs internet connection. Without any active connection, you will not be able to connect to internet.
Internet connection option for such devices:
Mobile phone:1. GPRS - settings will be coming from your mobile service provider, data rates will be deducted from your load credits.2. Wi-fi connection - needs active wireless connection from your modem/router/gateway. Charges will be applied via ISP 9internet service provider)
Laptops / computer / PSP:1. USB Dongles - this will use the gateway connection via BTS for its using the internet connection like the protocol of ISP.2. Wi-fi - Wi-fi connection - needs active wireless connection from your modem/router/gateway. Charges will be applied via ISP 9internet service provider)

I cant open my facebook in my laptop how should i fix it?

i believe your trying to connect wirelessly, before we connect or access facebook, we need to make sure that we are getting an internettoonnections directly to the modem. try to connect your laptop directly to your router via the ethernet cable. if your positive that your getting a good connection try to check your wireless connections if its connected by checking it on network and sharing, cause sometimes it might be on LOCAL ACCESS ONLY. if it is, try to disconnect and reconnect. and if we are positive its getting a connection, try to access your facebook, if it still not connect try to optimize your internet explorer by clicking on TOOLS>INTERNET OPTIONS> inside general tab click on delete browsing history put a check on everything except for password. then click delete. after doing it, click on the next tab, SECURITY, click on RESET ALL ZONES TO DEFAULT LEVEL if its clickable. if its not just click on ok then close I.EX. then relaunch it. it should work by this time

The chat appears offline or disconnected

Internets with least connectivity signals are incapable of performing multitasking of media. For example, facebook is made up multimedia that is incapable of displaying allong with chat features also requiring so much bandwith for connectivity to take place. If your internet is in functioning order, that may be the situation. Simply wanting to chat may require closing facebook, and logging onto a least connectivity chat browser. Yahoo may function desireably as replacement condition only without downloading the entire browser compliments. Simply download only the yahoo chat interface with least band connnectivity features. If the computer is connected to phone lines, that is indication of least signal capacity. Alternately, if the computer is using wireless, requesting the chat persons to update to similar internet supports the means to connectivity.

My ds i will not let me go on the internet of put pictures on facebook

the ds alone can not connect to the internet, you need to have somekind of a wireless internet connection - wlan or bluetooth, as far as I remember it does not have phone features so the internet will only work when you are in range of your own wireless network or any other public open network.

the wireless settings might be wrong if you are in range.

Facebook won't open in Google Chrome or Internet Explorer

Here you go let me know how it works.... You may want to reset settings in Internet Explorer

Step 1:
In Chrome, click the wrench icon, select "Options" then "Under the hood". Hit the button at the bottom that says "Reset to defaults".

Step 2:
On the same screen, make sure "Use DNS pre-fetching" is un-checked.

Step 3:
On the same screen, scroll down and press the button that says "Change proxy settings".

Step 4:
This assumes you are on broadband (with a pen and paper, write down your current settings so you can back them up if things go wrong). Click on "Lan Settings". Make sure "Automatically Detect Settings" is un-checked. Click "Ok".

Step 5:
Go to the Window XP/Vista Control Panel (Start, Settings, Control Panel). Load up the "Network Connections".

Step 6:
You will now see a list of the network cards and bridges on your computer. Only one of these is used by your computer to connect to the internet. For example, if you are using wireless internet you will only be using the wireless connection. Right click on each other connection and select "disable". You should only have one enabled connection.

Step 7:
Restart your machine. Turn it off and on again. This is a very important step.

Step 8:
Google Chrome will now be working fully. If not, then clear your history and cache and restart the browser.
