put your iphone on the a/c charger and press and hold the power and home buttons until you see the apple logo come up. it will then
boot up again. if it stops at the logo then you will need to restore the software,
use DFU mode to restore,
How to enter iPhone DFU mode
  • Connect the iPhone to your computer and launch iTunes
  • Turn the iPhone off (hold down the power button at the top of the iPhone)
  • Hold down the sleep/power button and home button together for exactly 10 seconds, then release the power button
  • Continue to hold down the Home button until a message appears in iTunes telling you an iPhone in recover mode has been detected

Hello My iPhone 3g 8gb is stuck ,, http://i54.tinypic.com/xlcmy0.jpg '' like that ... Please help me I have no glue what to do .

It seems your iphone was restore or reset. It needs a activation, you won't be able to open your iphone springboard or menu.

Simply follow this procedure.

* Insert your activated simcard on your iphone

* plug your iphone on your computer using your iphone usb cable,be sure you have i-tunes installed on your computer, and wait until the itunes recognized your iphone.

* After the iphone has been detected, a message on your itunes comes out that you need to activate your phone,on the otherhand,a process takes place, you will see a message on your iphone "Activating", just wait until the process is done.

Now you will see the information of your phone in itunes as well as take a look at your phone now that is already activated and comes out the springboard or menu.

IF you need to jailbreak your iphone that meets the firmware version and the baseband, just look at my TIPS link and for sure it's gonna work easy for you.

My iphone 3Gs is not starting up and is stuck on apple logo. Please help

Do a hard reset.
  1. Press-hold the Home button (big circle below the screen) and the Sleep/Wake button (on top of the iPhone) simultaneously.
  2. Continue holding both buttons (Ignore the "Slide to power off") until the iPhone shuts off and begins to restart.
  3. You may let go when you see the silver Apple logo.
  4. You have completed a hard reset successfully.
  5. Don't be alarmed that it takes quite a while to load from the Apple logo to the main screen. This is normal.
If this does not work, put into recovery mode and restore from itunes.
Step One
Open iTunes and connect the iPhone to your Mac.

Step Two
Press and hold the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button at the same time.

Step Three
As soon as the screen goes black release the Sleep/Wake button. Continue holding the home button until you iTunes pops up a message telling you that it has detected an iPhone in recovery mode.
