I have the same issue as kate5cz. Is there a solution or a reason as to why my computer will not even recognize the mp3 player anymore. I have changed nothing.

I have the same problem, and I have tried to delete songs from my player, but my computer won't recognize it. Is this a separate problem? What can I do?

You need to remove some of the files that are on your player. You can do this by accessing your device through your computer (go to My Computer and open the drive letter associated with your device). Navigate to media on your device that you want to remove and delete it. You likely only need to remove 7-10 songs to ensure that you have made enough space for profiling.

We are having the sam eproblem with the asking to free up 20mb. Your solution (The player needs free memory space for building up the playlists: delete the amount of data off the player.

Connect to the computer and backup all the data from the player onto the computer.
Next delete some of the saved data from the player to free at least 20 MB of memory.

When I turn it on the screen say "profile requires 20mb free space Shutting down." then it turns off.

Hi there

This is a memory problem and to solve this connect your mp3 player to your computer, your computer will recognize the new device

Open your device from the computer and delete some files that are not really needed till you have at least 20MB free space or more then disconnect your device and power it on

Do not always exhaust all your player memory, leave a little space for the player booting and working
