My best guess is improper ink cartridge installation.
Check your cartridges. Make sure you removed the protective film and clips that are used on some cartridges to prevent them from spilling or drying during shipping.
Make sure that they are seated tightly into the printer and are in the correct locations.
Make sure that all the printer's access doors are closed.
If that does not work you may have the wrong cartridges. Make sure they are identical to the ones you removed.
Finally, contact the printer manufacturer for support.
