Sounds like the brushes have gone bad. You should be able to get new ones from eraplacementparts.com

Brushes would not cause these symptoms. When the brushes fail - the saw won't run. You'll pull the trigger and nothing will happen.

My hitachi miter saw started to buzz when plugged in. It's seems to work normal when trigger is pulled but starts to smoke when I release the trigger. Bushing poor good. I have no idea what is wrong?

have it investigated by an appliance repair shop
the system is this
plug in --no noise
pull trigger -- blade spins and makes running noise
release trigger and blade stops -- no noise
anything else indicates a serious problem with the unit especially if it is smoking.

My Dewalt miter saw DW718 seems frozen. When I squeeze the handle, the blade doesn't move and the motor makes a sound like it's laboring, but stuck.

There's a little black button to press to lock the blade so you can loosen the screw. Did it get stuck in the in position? Can you turn the blade by hand (unplugged of course)?
I believe the 718 has a belt drive. Could the belt be broken and be buckled or twisted in its case preventing any movement?
Was it left out in the weather and did you get water in the bearings?

My saw makes a loud noice while I'm cutting

I'm wondering what the noise is like. Is the noise only while you are cutting / under load? Is the blade smoking? What type of wood are you cutting?

I moved my refrigerator to vacum (Frigidaire model PLHT217TAK 2002) and since then the warm air stopped coming out from the front bottom vent. It also stopped making noise, it seems to want to start but...

the condenser fan motor is what blows the air around down there, pull out the machine remove the back bottom panel and you'll see the fan, check it to see if something is stuck in the fan blade keeping it from spinning,do this right away,if the fan isn't blowing you can cook your compressor,if something is wrong with the fan motor you can leave the bottom panel off and stick a regular fan back there to keep the compressor cool until you fix the fan motor.hope this helps

How do i get guard out of way to replace blade..DW718

Make sure the saw is unplugged, manually move the blade guard up to it's fullest extension, push the arbor lock to make sure the arbor and blade do not spin (on front of saw motor housing), then wrench the nut holding the blade to remove. Remove the old blade, install new one and reassemble in reverse order. You can take the guard off completely if you choose, but it is not necessary. I hope this helps and good luck!

DW718 motor spins the wrong direction. How do I reverse polarity?

was this tool recently repaired? Also check to make sure the blade is installed correctly, Dewalt does not offer wiring diagrams online so I would suggest calling them to see if they can send one as a PDF file to you. But first ensure for proper blade installation and if it has been recently repaired sometimes the field can be installed 180 degree out, also the wiring could be as you think incorrect. I again would call them
