That file belongs to the My Websearch toolbar, which is malware. If you have recently cleaned up your computer to remove malware, then a reference was left in Startup. If you have *not* recently cleaned up your computer, you need to do so.

I would suggest using Search and Destroy which you can get and use for free

Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
Good luck!

### I get the message c:PROGRA~1MYWEBS1ar.binM3PLUGIN.DLL when I start up Vista. What does it mean and how do I fix it?

Some people call this program spyware , my web search can really slow down your browsing,

click on the start to see if you have the run command if not right button click over the start button area , select customise then look for the enable run command or use the CMD Shell.

Now type msconfig within the run command window

now goto startup tab you will find mywebs etc , unselect it , please take great care here,

Click Apply , close then reboot,

You have spyware infesting your computer, the mywebsearch browser helper object. Run either Adaware or Spybot Search & Destroy, either should get rid of it for you. If not, please post to this thread and I'll give you a link to manual removal.

### C\PROGRA~1\MYWEBS`1\bar\.bin\M3PLUGIN.DLL

It appears to be spyware.

I suggest looking into an app called HiJackThis and use it to scan ur PC then use it to remove references to that DLL file.

I suggest to all - Use http://www.avast.com 's Home Edition Free Anti-Virus it works very well.

G'luck
