Question about Computers & Internet
Dell E151FP6 monitor. I managed to reduce the contrast to a totally black screen with the buttons on the front/bottom of the screen. The only button I touched to accomplish that was the contrast button. Now I can't see anything. Except I can touch that contrast button and a bar lights up. It is set at totally minimum contrast. I hit every key and combination of buttons and keys I can imagine might work and got no changes whatsoever. I turned the computer off and on again. I disconnected the monitor and turned it off and back on. I got the test screen which looked OK. I reconnected it to the computer, but no change. I can still pull up the contrast bar but that's it. ANY SUGGESTIONS?
Here is the link for the E151FPb monitor manual.
Since you email your question you have access to get this manual and print it. The manual shows the Auto set button, the contrast control button and a monitor reset feature.
Unfortunately you have to do each of these blind. Follow the instruction given, push buttons smartly, wait a few seconds for any action to take place, then follow the next instruction.
