I need a schematic for IBM 17f4711 power supply made in the 1980's by Zenith.

try to figure out any short circuit that causing power supply to come in safe mode , just give me more details about power supply , what kind of power supply is it?

If you can open it : Test the power switch and the power unit and change if one dont work If you cant open it: Change your printer

If you want to replace the fuse try to follow your ac cord and it will direct you to your power supply there you will see the fuse. Just trace the line 1 and line 2 of your ac connection in the pcb you will see the fuse it is printed in the pcb. Good day and best regards. Note be sure to unplug the unit before opening the back cover of your tv and replacing the fuse.

if nobody finds the schematic, start looking for bulging or leaking electrolytic capacitors...it's usually them.

zenith are famous for bad soldering even going back to the 80s with the 960-05 boards in the space command sets.
i would pull out the circuit board and check the soldering before doing anything else.

Easiest thing to do would be to meter out your power connectors, and locate the various voltages that way. Use a multimeter that can read up to 20v DC, and go round the connectors. On most PSU's the black is negative, and the various colours represent the other voltages.
