I've been having a problem with my camera. It has worked on this computer in the past. As I went to turn it on one day it said it wasn't able to detect a cam on my PC.. so I uninstalled it and reinstalled it and tried it again then when I click on my cam the green light went on but it rebooted my computer every time i tried.. so i restalled it again.. and now i plug up my cam and it doesn't find it at all.. tell me what I should try doing..

If it is a USB webcam, you need to find the drivers. If the webcam is made by HP, you should be able to find the necessary drivers on their site. If not contact the manufacturer of the cam; they can tell you what to do.
You may try adjusting the cameras focus. Usually on the front of the camera where the lens is located it will turn left and right. Turn it one way until it gets clearer, if it gets more blurry turn the other way.
Also make sure the lens is clean by taking a soft cloth and wiping it off, some cameras have very small lenses so you may need to use a Q-tip to get the soft cloth onto the lens.
I hope that helps out, if not feel free to let us know.
you remove all the software installed by browsing controll pannel>system>device manager and disconnect the w/cam restart the system then connect the cam the system wii detct the cam then u install the software again it will work.
