Question about Televison & Video
Mar 06, 2009
- I have a Samsung HLR5067W that I purchased in May 06. A few months ago it started getting horizontal colored lines across the entire screen. The Technician is saying it is the light engine. I know they have issues with the light tunnel but can the light tunnel make it appear the light engine is bad? Is there a high incidence of light engine failures that Samsung is not admitting to? Should they replace the light engine at no cost?
Yes this has been a common problem since 2005 and I have had 2 light engines replaced in my Samsung. Luckily I have the 5 year warentee.
