Question about Protron PLTV-32 Television
I emailed Dave Simpson after numerous posts about him repairing the adapter. I sent it to him and am hopefully going to recieve it by Friday. Dave emailed me within a couple of hours of my request and hopes to repair it. Anyone out there looking to fix there adapter please try Dave Simpson. So far he is the only one who can do it.

I highly recommend the repair guy that someone emailed us. On ebay a guy wanted $142. including shipping for a new one and did not even have in stock. Refunded money after a week.
Emailed firstname.lastname@example.org (Dave Simpson) and he emailed me back same day. I priority mailed the unit to his work addess for $11.00 on Monday and by Friday he emailed me back it was fixed and charged me $61.00. He takes paypal. The repair is good for one month but he said if does go down call him.
I have called the 909-657-2252 (Protron Group that made the Protron 32" LCD) and all I have ever heard was a recording and after multiple messages for 2 weeks they have not called me back.

I had a power supply for my Protron 32 inch TV that was not working. I bought the one on ebay and it stopped working after only three weeks. Ultimately I found a guy who could fix my original power supply for a reasonable price. It's been working for a year now with no problems. I wish I would have tried him first!!!! If anyone is interested his email is email@example.com.

Here's the only place I know that sells them:
It seem to be the #1 common problem with the Protron TV.
It maybe cheaper to find someone to fix the power supply, but if you get it from LCDPAYLESS, make sure it has some type of warranty on it. I hate to see anyone pay $130 and it only last a couple of months.
