We put in a new battery and then starter. It still will not start, It makes a clikcing noise

When you put a new starter in did it have a new sylinoid with it? Also check to make sure all your connections to power are tight and you have a good ground. One quick way to check is to take the starter out and take a pair of jumper cables hook to them to the battery at one end and then ground the negative to the starter housing and then touch the posative end to the posative terminal on the starter. if the starter engages its not a starter issue but possibly a electrical issue in the vehicle.

Check to see if you have the polarity corect for innershielded wire the gun should be negative and the ground should be posative. also check your heat setting and match it to the guide lines on the cover door.

With battery ground disconnected and positive connected if i take a voltage tester and touch from battery ground to chassis ground i get 12.52 volts, just what the battery tests,+ to -.

Are you sure you were touching the negative post and not the positive post. If you checked the positive post and the other wire to body chassis then you should get the reading you say here. Negative to negative is negative and you should have had no reading at all. Please do this test again being absolutly posative your touching the negative post. There will be a - sign on the battery under that post. Get back to me after the double check, Raz

Where is the negative battery cable connected on the battery of a 1993 lincoln continental town car? There are three cables and where are they all connected? thanks. Barb

The posative cable is red and/or has a + sign on the batterey terminal. The negative terminal is on the opposite side, and is black and/or - sign. The third is most likely a ground that goes from the negative terminal to something metal on the engine, just follow it.. It is possible that the third wire goes to an alarm or radio, or some device that requires power like an installed radar detector or GPS. If this is the case then it should have a fuse betwwen it and the battery, and sometimes it is in the device itself.

How to turn on the phone spv m3100

there should be a turn on button hold down for 1-2 seconds at the top of the phone if nothing happens the battery may be dead i have an mda vario that if it is not turned on the battery won't charge its just the way they work not a fault.
I got it working by taking the battery out and cut off the small end of a normal usb lead i.e. big usb to small. strip the wires and there should be a red and black wire, posative and negative the red posative and the black negative.
attatch the red wire to the posative metal strip on your phone and the black to the negative strip on your phone, it should say on your phone by the battery or on the battery which side is posative and negative. turn on your computer and plug the usb lead in and then insert the phone battery making sure that none of the wires touch any of the other strips on your phone let your computer load and press the on button at the top of the phone for 2 secs and wait it should turn on and charge.
wait for 10 or so minutes making sure the phone is charging, then plug your charger for your phone in and at the same time remove the usb lead and wait for the battery to charge before taking the wires out of the phone.

Can I run 8 speakers and 1 sub through 1 1200watt 2:1 Sony Xplod?

asuming the 8s are 4ohms each; wire two in series and that gives you 8ohms then two more in series then you put those together in parallel and it gives you a 4ohm load. repeat with other four for the other side. you should then be able to bridge the sub

series; posative of one speaker to negative of other speaker and that doubles your ohms

parallel; posative to posative negative to negative and that cuts the ohms in half
