Question about Refrigerators
I have a frididaire electrolux refrigerator. I believe th motor or something blew out. Lights are on and it is not working. cleaned the coils, no change, fan is working
Check the thermostat settings. It should be on Hi cold,or maximum cool Also check if the gas has not leaked out.

From what you have described your Electrolux hood is working properly but the lights are not coming on. I understand that you heard a bang when the old ones went out it could be possible that your receptacle is bad or wire has shorted. I would suggest having a technician out to properly diagnosis your hood. They have the appropriate tools and knowledge needed to pinpoint the reason your lights are not working properly.
