What is 3rd light top right

Hallo,
The 3rd led it is light when pressed Scroll Lock key on keyboard, now it is not more used but in Windows and programs but it is still constructed on keyboard as a standard.
On construction this key was used in correlation with Ctrl key -system properties, and also when it is press the arrows works a page-up or page-down.
But now it is more common to use the wheel from mouse to scroll down or up a page. ;-)

Page up button not working

Unfortunately it sounds like you're keyboard is malfunctioning and the only permanent fix is to replace the keyboard. In the mean time, since you are unable to do so, I would suggest using the touch pad to manipulate the scroll bar for the faster scrolling. For more control you could use a USB mouse with the laptop which would give you a scroll wheel. (I personally use a Wireless Mouse with my laptop because I find touch pads don't react they way I would like my mouse to use)

The screen continuoulsy scrolls on word, internet, ppt, anyting. How do I get it to stop? I will by typing in a word document and use backspace or enter key or delete and the side bar will scroll quickly...

The Page Down key or the Down Arrow key is stuck on the keyboard, or the laptop thinks so.

Try cleaning the keyboard with compressed air and a gentle vacuum. DO NO USE WD-40 or similar.

If that doesn't work, try an external keyboard plugged into a USB slot. You may have to disconnect the keyboard ribbon connector first, if it does not recognize the external keyboard.

I am unable to hold down the left mouspad key and scroll down the page

Try putting the pointer on the little bar in the middle of the scroll bar. While you hold the left button down.If you want to go from one end to the other fast click inside the track. If your mouse has a wheel click any where on the page and roll the wheel and the page will move. Some wheels can be clicked down like a left click and in this position a four way or to way arrow will appear and you can just move the mouse in the direction you wish to move and stop and the page will scroll at the speed that you stop at this is auto scroll . Some wheels will move the page sideways by pushing the wheel to the side.I like Logitech products.Thank You fur choosing FixYa.com.

I always add this for your information. If this is not the solution that you are looking for please re post because when we pick a question to answer FixYa takes it out of the questions.

The arrow keys can scroll but on a game they dont

In most games you can change your keyboard keys to do differnet functions. Check your Options or Preferences in Game.

A lot of games use W for fast, X for Slow, A for Left and D for Right

Try those or Setup your Keyboard the way you want it.

Hope this Helps!

You might have already tried using the page up/page down buttons on your keyboard, but if not you could try using those. That is how I usually scroll through my PDF files.
