Question about Microsoft Wireless Network Adapter Xbox 360 (SKWIFIX360)
We have a BT HomeHub wireless router with 2 laptops finding the signal easily enough. However, my son's XBox 360 with a new wireless adapter N (black model with 2 antenae) does not read the signal. We have keyed in the wireless hub code and even manually input the IP address. It still cannot connect to the hub. Any ideas please?
Your router may have incorect connection settings. what i mean is that your router may have security on that rejects connecting to adapter. check if the xbox can connect to the internet via ethernet cable. this will tell for sure if the 1 the adapter cannot read the signal or 2 the adapter is not able read any signals. to test if its the adapter, try searching for other signals.if you find any other signal it means your router. is rejecting to send the signal to the xbox.
