Display is not working in nokia 6500. which is the lcd ic of 3 near lcd conector?

Firstly, remove the back cover. remove 4 nuts from the back too. carefully crack it open and then take off the flex from the panel. slide it up immediately. you'll see 4 other nuts. loose them and take the front off. carefully remove the screen from the clip and at the side of the clip you'll see an ic, that's it-take it off with your work station and then replace it with another ic.

How to open nokia n73's parts

Hi,

In order to disassemble a Nokia N73 phone first of all you need to remove the battery cover (back cover) of the phone. Then remove the battery, memory card and the SIM card.

Pry up the front cover frame by using the safe open pry tool. It is recommended to start from either of the bottom corners of the phone. First insert the safe open pry tool between the cover and the keypad of the phone to unhook the clip underneath. Do not apply too much pressure as this may damage the front cover. You can use Triangle Safe Open Pry Tool in conjunction with Safe Open Pry Tool for prying up the cover frame safely and conveniently.

Do the same to unclip the clip from the other side. Once you have undone the clips, run the tool gently along the sides of the cover to unclip all the clips. This should remove the cover without much difficulty.

Now you need to remove the display shield which holds the LCD screen in place. You need to pry the display shield up using the safe open pry tool to unlock the clips holding it in place.

Once you have the display shield removed, the next step is to remove the LCD which will now be loose enough to be lifted up. Gently lift up the LCD using the safe open pry tool but be very careful as you still have to remove a ribbon cable to be able to free the LCD. To disconnect this cable you need to gently lift it and it will pop out.

Once you have disconnected the ribbon cable, the LCD can now be lifted up and removed. Your Nokia N73 is now disassembled.

Reverse the instructions above to reassemble your phone.

Please let me know if you need more assistance.

Regards.

I need to replace the 3 button control panel which is one piece along the top of the draw many thanks wayne

Hi - this should help you out ..... enjoy.

9.1 Drawer Front Removal

9.1.1 Slide open drawer.

9.1.2 Locate draw pin on either side of the tub.

9.1.3 Using a sharp pair of long nose pliers or slip jaw pliers grasp the center dividing web of the pin and pull away from the tub to remove the pin. Support the drawer front with your hand while doing this. Note: The pin web is vertical.

9.1.4 With both pins removed the bottom of the drawer front can now be eased out slightly.

9.1.5 Now carefully pull the drawer front down to allow it to come free from the handle and top locating slots.

9.1.6 Carefully remove the earth wire from the tab on the drawer front. (if it is an integrated model you will also need to unplug the integrated badge from the isolating module)

9.1.7 Refit in reverse manner ensuring the drawer slides are right forward and the pin secures through the hook on the front end of the slide.

Note: When reinserting the pins make sure the dividing web is vertical.

9.2 Tub Removal

9.2.1 Open the drawer fully.

9.2.2 Depress the right-hand tub clip and push it back about 30mm (1 inch). Repeat for the left-hand side.

9.2.3 The tub may now be lifted up off the drawer runners.

9.2.4 Slide both runners back into the product.
9.2.5 Refit in reverse manner.

Drawer and LCD Display Removal

9.3.1 Remove the drawer front as per instructions in 9.1.

9.3.2 The handle fits onto a lip at the top of the tub and then slides from left to right to lock into place. Push the right-hand end of the handle to the left until it feels free then remove it out towards you.

9.3.3 Disconnect the six wire harness from the electronic controller to the LCD interface.

9.3.4 The handle may now be lifted clear. The LCD display is held in place by a spring tab on one

end and a clip in the centre. Use a small blade screwdriver to carefully release the tab and centre clip as shown. The LCD assembly can now be removed.

9.3.5 The wiring harness can now be unplugged from the LCD.
9.3.6 Refit in reverse manner.

I need to replace internal batery on my Sony TRV17. Any Idea where it is located?

The internal battery is usually located in the recessed left panel where the lcd display is housed when not in use. Flip the lcd display open and look for a plastic rectangular covering which can be pried off. You will need to use a stout tooth pick, a paper clip end or a small metal prying tool to remove the plastic covering. Once you pop it off, you should see the battery. The battery may be spot soldered in place so this is really not a user serviceable operation although you may get away with a replacement if done very carefully.

My problem is not very big. I want to replace the screen on my Dell Latitude D510 laptop, but I cannot find reliable information on how to do so for my specific model. Any help will be greatly...

Usually if you were to remove the suround from the screen, the screen is fixed to the hinges along the side. Be carefull as damage can be done easily.
Get your new screen, ebay is a good source of cheap screens, and replace the old screen. screw by screw. The connector may have to be unplugged from just above the keyboard, so remove the front facia if needed.
Hope that helped.

How do I Open / disassemble LG Flatron

Remove all the screws from the screen that you can, check for screws under all soft objects and labels, after all screws are removed, use a flat screwdriver or a case opener tool to start snapping the display cover open, it is hold in place with plastic clips, these will clip open but be carefull not to break any.
