Westinghouse 26h730s- menu flashes on screen for no reason-how can this be stopped?

Hello, there are two things you can do to stop this, one is to perform a factory reset. You can do this by going to the menu, go under the settings tab, and select the last option which is the reset option. Another this you can try is to do a power reset which is to unplug the unit from the back of the TV for atleast a minute. If this all fails than you are looking to change the main board. That answer above is not necessary. I had the same issue and all you have to do is take every screw out on the outside of the tv. Remove the back panel. On the bottom where the buttons are, you will see a white connector. Disconnect it and the flashing will stop permanently. You will no longer have use of the buttons but the remote will still work.
