Question about Televison & Video

1 Answer

I am trying to operate my Emerson 32" TV, Model #BLC320EM9, Serial #J30824723, mfgd. in July 2008, with my remote that came with my Dish Network sat. receiver. Its Model ID is Dish 322, and its Receiver CAID is R006191704050. Its software is #L482, and its smart card ID is S193260394951DNASP241-DshH03. And its software version is L482GLFD-N. I don't know when it was mfgd., but, it was installed about seven months ago. I want to operate both my TV (on/off, volume), and all of the sat. functions from my Dish Network receiver remote. This would eliminate having two remotes. I have tried several suggestions already. Dish Network, gave me lists of extensive codes to try, they did not work. It seemed that Emerson wasn't very thorough with their help, they didn't provide me with code lists, and basically said that they make several TVs that carry different brand names. Thank you!

Here is a very simple soultion to your problem Go to the dollar store Buy a 4 in 1 RCA remote handunit it will come with codes For TV and Code to operate Dishnet work box Very easy to program! Cost $6.00
Then I would Call Dishnet work and tell them that if they couldnt send a person to program my remote for their BOX and My TV then I would Change Satellite Services to Directv.

Dish Network Remote Codes? Can't seem to get the few I have to work the dish remote

If your remote is a learning remote (has a little black glossy square on the top left side of the remote) you don't need a code, you just need the original remote. Place both remotes on a table, or other flat, sturdy surface, with the original TV remote facing the square on the DISH remote. Make sure both remotes have functioning batteries. On the DISH remote, hold down TV until the button blinks three times, then hold down record (for 5+ seconds) until the TV button lights up and stays on. Then, slowly, for each key you want to use, hit the key on the DISH remote (TV light blinks) then the corresponding key on the original remote (TV light blinks). For example: DISH Volume Up, TV remote Volume Up. When you are done learning all the keys you want to train, hit SAT. The TV light will blink three times, then the SAT light will light up for a moment. Try the DISH remote on your TV functions.

I need to program my dishnetwork remote model 6.0 ir/uhf pro to the tv. Also, I have hooked up a gamecube system to it, but cannot get the game system to come up on the tv screen. I am hoping the remote...

We would be happy to help with those two issues. First let's address your DISH Network remote to your Emerson TV. To check that the code works try severalfunctions on the remote to make sure it's the best code to use with your TV. Rememberthat some codes may not be compatible with your equipment. If this is the case, try the other codes listed for that device until you find one that iscompatible with your equipment. Remember to put your remote back into SAT mode once you're done.

Once you have your DISH Network remote programmed to your TV getting the game system to come up on the TV should be a matter of getting your TV on the input you have it connected to. This can be done by pressing the "TV/Video" or "Input" button on the DISH remote when it is in TV mode. If you are still having trouble with getting the game system to come up on your TV, call the Emerson Customer Service Department at: 1-800-256-2487.

We hope that this information gets you up and running. Thank you for being a valued DISH Network customer!

Hello! Your tv controls the volume if it jumps up to 60 after moving down it may be interference with the TV's remote sensor. Has anything changed i.e. new lighting ? Try calling Emerson at: 8002562487

Cannot find code for dish network remote to control emerson 32 in

Phillip with DISH Network here. We would be happy to help with that.

Step 1:
Press and hold the TV Mode button until all mode button back lights come on, then release.

Step 2:
Use the number buttons to enter the device code corresponding to the equipment. In your case we are going to use the Emerson codes: 764, 632, 648, 670, 699, 194, 537, 537. Then press the pound (#) button.

You should be able to control the volume and turn the TV on and off, if not try another code. Although we try to facilitate you in controlling both devices with one remote we cannot guarantee that we have codes for all the different brands and models of TV's.

Dish 3.1 remote is not programmable t a new 32" Emerson TV model #LC320EMXF

I have seen this problem with this particular model of tv, Some remote models will just not program, you can try a power scan by holding down the sat button till all lights light up then release, type in 500 for the code and press #, then press SAT till all lights lite up again tehn press the big red power button and release. then press teh up arrow once every 2 seconds to manually go through all the codes. if your tv shuts off press # ( it can take up to a minute to do this) anything past a minute will do. if still no success then your remote is not compatible with the tuner in the emerson tv.
