My printer won;t print

My printer is not working it flashes E and 5 i don;t know a whole lot about prinetrs and my son has a report to do plzzzz help!!!!!

Your son probably deleted the drivers for your speakers. try search on the internet for the speakers you have and see if you can download them. If this does not work let me know. There are other thing we can try.

My printer has decided not to print on command where it be with the computer on or off. I have done everything I know to do and still it doesn't work. PLEASE HELP..Nancye


Let us isolate the problem first

we have to find out whether the problem is in printer or with the computer connected to it

Please tell me whether it is printing on self test , for most of the printers it is the online button that you have to press for certains amount of secs approximately 5 sec.

Please let me know the result

Waste tank near full


Hi
The waste ink take is actually just a felt pad that sits under the printer mechanism inside the case and absorbs the ink from your cleanings

Try this:
1 Power off printer
2 Hold RESUME button then press and hold POWER. (The beeper MAY sound once, or may not depending on your model.)
3 Hold POWER and Release RESUME.
4 Press RESUME twice then release both POWER and RESUME buttons.
5 When the indicator lights steady, press RESUME 4 times (for the S900, 3 times for the 8200 apparently).
6 Press power to set data.
7 Print away!

Let me know if that didnt solve your problem

Hi,
please be more specific.
i,m assuming you cannot print your Work ?
check that all of the cables are correctly fitted, between the computer and printer.
And also that you are getting a power light on the printer itself.
if not check the fuse in the plug.
if it,s software ( program ) related. try using another program to print from.
hope this helps, it,s very difficult to solve any problems.
with lack of information and poor spelling.

I have a Canon Pixma IP 5000 inkjet printer and am using Mac OS 10.3.9. It has 5 ink cartridges: 2 black (3e and 6) and one each yellow, magenta and cyan. I use it all day every day. After printing...

Sorry this ain't a solution but it seems to be the only cash-free way to contact you. No problem not solved - though I have tried everything. Dismantled the printer; washed, dried and replaced the waste ink pads; washed the print head; blew compressed air through the print-head sponge; replaced the cartridge 3 times; printed hundreds of test prints. I can't think of anything else to do and so I think the only solution is to replace the printhead (probably not even available) or replace the printer. The latter is looking most likely.

We just attached the macbook to the hppsc 1350v all in one printer and new print cartridges. When attempting to print, message reads"color print cartridge not compatible with this printer". We know we have...


Hi,

Just to confirm pls:
1. the new print cartridges are original HP inks;
2. you have remove the bright pink tape from the ink cartridges;
3. the black is on the right side and the color is on the left side.

You can try removing both cartridges and clean the gold colored contacts where the pink tape was. Pls do the same to the mate pins in the cartridge holder in the printer.

Try again. If this does not be corrective, you may need to change inks again.

Hope this be of help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.
