I just ran into this issue in teh last couple days. I went back and found a note from someone who owend it previously with instructions on how to clear this.

Press the menu button until you see the "reset". Press enter. On the screen when you see "Clear log/Queses" change the no to a yes with the arrow keys. Press enter and wait a few seconds. Press cancel and the machine will reboot and the hard disk will have been emptied.

A search of the Oracle Metalink site ( http://metalink.oracle.com/ ) for the ORA-27063 and ORA-19502 errors returns Oracle Document ID 271511.1. This note indicates the hard drive of the Oracle server is full.

Resolution:
Free up disk space on the Oracle server. Refer questions regarding the correct way to clear files from the Oracle server to Oracle support.

What does a blinking hard drive light mean?

A blinking hard drive light indicates hard drive activity. It means that the hard drive is performing certain operations. There are many programs running in the background that need to access the hard drive to read and write data. Whenever this happens, the hard drive indicator light blinks.
Although, if it's blinking continuously and causing the system to slow down, it could also indicate that the system is low on resources such as RAM or hard disk space or it is infected with Malware. In that case, you'll need to check your system configuration. You should run a full antivirus/antispyware scan to make sure the system is clean.

Hard disk sector problems

Yes, and maybe.

How's that for a clear, concise answer?

When using the Restoration Disk, or a fresh new Installation Disk; if there are bad sectors you will be advised that CHKDSK, is about to run. (Or instructed to use CHecKDiSK, and how)

CHKDSK will then see if there are good sectors that it can move info over to, OR; you will be advised that you have an irreparable hard disk. (Harddrive)

Reformatting is using the Restoration Disk, or Full Installation disk; and when asked choose Full Install.
(Destructive Installation)

Do NOT click on Format in ANY other way.

USE the Restoration Disk, or Full Installation disk.

(Otherwise you will wipe the harddrive clean, and you do NOT want to do this)

Product keys on the hardward itself indicates an OEM license and will only work with the original OEM installation disk (not with Microsoft upgrade or full retail product CD's). When using a recovery disk that came with the computer, there will be no need to enter this information as it is hard coded into the CD (or hard disk utility partition). If you have lost the original installation/recovery disk(s), you might be able to purchase one from the manufacturer for a nominal fee.

Not enough disk space in temporary directory for intervideo windvd creater 2

Listed under preferences or options will be an option to set the location of temporary files - at the moment this will be set to a disk that is nearly full. If you have more than one disk set it to one which has more space free.
If you only have one disk (C:) and this is nearly full you will either need to clear off files you don't need or add another hard drive.

When logging on error message telling me disk nearly full delete files etc

This message means the hard disk is nearly out of disk space.
Do you regularly do a Disk Cleanup and empty the Recycle Bin? These disk maintenance chores will free up disk-space by removing old temporary and compressed files. Therefore returning disk space for further use.
To do a Disk Cleanup follow these steps. This can take hours to complete, it depends upon the size of the hard disk especially if it has not been done before.
Click on My Computer - right click on the C drive and click on the Disk Cleanup button. After it analyzes the hard disk then click all the boxes to recover the maximum disk space, click OK then YES to perform these actions.

Disk is full. Can not reset and erase the disk.

Hi !!
From your post Its not clear that either you are talking about Hard disk or Compaq disk. If its Compaq disc ( CD ) make sure its Rewriteable or if its hard drive make sure  nirtual memory is not allocated to that part and also no application or software is running.
Thanks Irfan

I have put a dvd to record but it says disk error, what can I do?

Cleaning lens (manually) seems to have worked. But, I'm still irritated about having so many unnecessary variables to deal with. The pattern is clear and long. And the landfills are full of hard working people's money.
