Question about Digi ConnectPort (CP-WAN-A300) Router
If i purchase a router will i be able to use it in my business to pick up a signal for the internet w/out having an internet provider for a desktop? Also if i use a router at home for my laptop will it work w/ comcast internet which is my provider for my desktop. And can you recommend a mid range in cost but quality router to buy. thank you
Hello, You would need an ISP(Internet Service Provider) to connect a wireless router to at the office. You can use a wireless router at home with comcast. Very easy to connect. The router range in price from 30.00 and up. A good one for home would be $40-50.00. A 802.11g wireless router 54Mbps or a 802.11n at 108Mbps. The n router is the newest and fastest but sometimes doesn't work with some applications. The g router is great for the home and is backward compatible with the b devices. Go to www.newegg.com they have great prices and very fast ship. Hope this helps. Thanks

Ok, my friend if you don't have internet services whether you use router or modem you won't be able to connect...
You can buy a netgear, buffalo or speed touch router they are quite good...
