Question about Microsoft Xbox 360 Console
Should never use the towel trick for more than 8-10 minutes if it works atleast for a while then there is a more long term fix. usually without parts

If the cable is known to be working then there
is a 90% chance it's a scaler chip problem (the "ANA" or "HANA" chip
connected directly to the AV cable) in rare cases it is the GPU.
1) (Ideally) Send it back to microsoft
2) Get your board reflowed.
3) Try one of the X-clamp mods (following a motherboard reflow if at all possible.).
4) Take a heat-gun to your box
5) Try "the towel trick"
