Pull straight up on the cover. Remove the 4 screws that hold the fan to the heat sink. You can then remove the 2 torx screws and remove the heat sink if you need to. Clip the wires as close to the bad fan as possible so you will have enough for the new fan.

When my heat comes on , the blower doesn't blow it just mummes. I can turn the fan by hand and it is free. the out side unit is working . Can it be the coil on top of the fan? It a Model EB17B Coleman

It certainly could be the motor capacitor; the oval metal can located on the blower housing.

These are fairly simple to test with a digital meter that measures capacitance. Also, if it is bulged or has a hole blown in it, you know it is bad. These are available at almost any appliance parts store locally or at Grainger.com

It also could be the motor relay (#12 in the manual)

I have a model 5645 and it has stopped cooling

the outside fan can be replaced with a 92 x 25 mm computer cooling fan. Inside fan is a 60 x 10 mm. Remove the cover on the inside by pulling straight up. Plug it in and check if the metal heat sink on the inside is getting cold. If it does, then the problem is one or both of the fans.

Model 5645, inside fan blades are breaking off (3 missing). Where can I get another fan?

Take what is left of the fan blade including the broken off ears and take it to any large appliance parts house. They usually carry a large selection of blades by hub size, blade diameter, and pitch, and directional orientation. You should be able to get a close if not exact match. My parts house has never failed me in this area.

Coleman AC compreser work but fan dont

If the selector switch is broken, you need to replace that first. This will cause the fan not to come on if there is an open in it. After replacing the switch, if you still have to fan operation, it is possible that you have a bad fan capacitor, part# 1499-5461, or a bad fan motor, part# 14683099. Replace the capacitor first before spending the money on a motor. An easy way to check is to see if you can start the fan motor by hand while turning it on a the selector switch. If the motor starts this way, replace the capacitor.

Hope this helps,

Jeff

Coleman 5640 cooler

The cover on the inside just pulls off. Inside/Outside fans pull off. 2 screws to dismount motor. Unscrew leads to terminal. Most truckstops carry the motor, otherwise search for Colman 5640.
