Changing batteries on a Casio G-Shock Cockpit watch

yes. wrong battery possibly...
395/399 = SR927SW/SR927W

The 395 is a lower power output but same voltage (1.5v). The power spike of shorting might have caused a spike in the watch electronics.. make sure they are right polarity too. These batteries are not high current items, but maintain their voltage over the 5+ year lifespan. The S and SW are basically interchangable except for the higher amerage output.

INSTRUCTION MANUAL FOR FOSSIL CH2698

See https://www.fossil.com/content/dam/fossil/PDF/watchinstructions/Fossil_Watch_Instructions_EN_US.pdf

The file is a compendium of instructions for a large number of Fossil movements, but it is unclertain which movements the model CH-2331 and CH-2698 watches use. However, movement OS10 (page 15) appears to be the only one that matches the dial layout, button layout and also has a date window as the CH-2331. The watch has a quartz analog mechanism and uses one SR927W 1.55-volt silver oxide button cell. Silver oxide cells have low current output, but very long shelf life, so if the stem is pulled out completely when the watch isn't being worn, the battery could last many years. Scan the instructions to match up the CH-2698 with a movement number. A good guess from examining photos of the face of a CH-2698 watch would be movements OS20 / FS00 or VD53.

How can i set the time? I made it with the digital clock, but i can't find out how to change the analog clock!

The analog hands and face are clean looking and manage to give the watch a classic face. It won't turn any heads, positively or negatively. The hands are rather thin and silver which makes it blend in too easily with the face. Stupidly, Casio put a vertical and horizontal silver line on the face which further causes the hands to be visually lost. The hands aren't hard to see, but because they blend they aren't easy to see either. And there is no second hand at all; but the digital portion covers that function.

The digital portion in the bottom can only display two rows of information. So it's either day/date, or time/seconds. The top row is hard to see because the face shadows over it partially. The numbers are on the small side; not for old eyes. The digital portion has all the fundamental functions: time/date, hourly chime, chrono, 3 alarms, count down, dual time, and even "data bank" which is a very crude phone/number data bank.

The LED's are the old 80's yellowish tinge type and do a very poor job of illuminating the face... but if you're in the dark, it'll do the job. The hands have glow in the dark paint on them which also helps you just barely make out the time in the dark.

There is just nothing great at all about this watch; but it does everything you REALLY need a watch to do. Couple this with the 10-year battery, 100M water resistance, and $25 price tag, and you have something that just gets the job done reliably and economically. It might be plain vanilla, but it's real and hits the spot.

How do I set the time on an Adidas calculator adh4020 watch?

p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 13.0px Arial} p.p2 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 13.0px Arial; min-height: 15.0px} p.p3 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px Helvetica; min-height: 14.0px} p.p4 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px Helvetica} p.p5 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 13.0px Helvetica} p.p6 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 13.0px Helvetica; min-height: 16.0px} span.s1 {letter-spacing: 0.0px} span.s2 {font: 12.0px Helvetica; letter-spacing: 0.0px} span.s3 {font: 13.0px Arial; letter-spacing: 0.0px}

I have the Adidas ADH4018 and I assume the controls are the same, unfortunately, Adidas has absolutely no manual online for this watch. I've figured out how to do most of the functions of this watch.

NOTE: For greater setting accuracy, I recommend using a stylus-like object or the retracted tip of a retractable pen (as to not write on your watch) to click the number keys when setting the time and date for the first time.

Set the Time:

To set the time go into time mode by pressing the lower silver button on the right side of the watch face. Then enter set mode (press and hold the upper silver button on the left side of the watch face until your display blinks). Press the number 7 to change the hour, press the number 8 to change the minutes, press the number 9 to start the seconds over at 00. Press the multiplication key (x) to change from 12 hour to 24 hour time modes. When finished press the time mode key.

Set the Date:

To set the date go to time mode by pressing the lower silver button on the left side of the watch face. Then enter set mode (press and hold the upper silver button on the left side of the watch face until your display blinks). Press the number 4 to change the month number. Press the number 5 to change the day of the month. Press the number 6 to change the day of the week (indicated by a small dot above the days of the week abbreviations at the bottom of the digital display. When finished, press the time mode key.

Set the Alarm:

To set the alarm time, enter alarm mode by pressing the upper silver button on the right side of the watch face. Then enter set mode (press and hold the upper silver button on the left side of the watch face until your display blinks). Press the number 7 to change the hour, press the number 8 to change the minutes. When finished press the time mode key.

Turn the Alarm On or Off:

To turn the alarm on or off, first enter alarm mode by pressing the upper silver button on the right side of the watch face. Then press the divide key (÷) to change from on to off or off to on. When the alarm is ON an indicator icon will appear in the upper right of the display in time, date, or alarm mode. When alarm is OFF there will be no indicator icon displayed.

To Use the Calculator Function:

Enter Calculator mode by pressing the Clear All (AC) key on the keypad when in time mode. Use the number keys and function keys to complete calculations. To return to time mode simply press the time mode key.

As of yet I have not discovered how to turn off the annoying beep when you press any button.

1. Use a coin turn the battery hatch one-quarter turn counter-clockwise
2. Remove old battery from compartment. Keep plastic cradle and replate with 395/SW927R battery. Replace the new battery positive side facing up in the plastic cradle into the metal compartment in the watch. Ensure all three little tabs line up and twist cradle to lock into place. Make sure the O-ring is in proper placement on the cover and replace the battery hatch ensuring it is sealed completely!
