Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

I cant open Smurfs Village on my itouch. Now, im at level 19. This thing happened twice. Please solve my prob. Thx.

itouchs and older generation iphones tend not to have enough processing power to run some of the newer games today. You click to open, the loading screen shows, and then it exits without prompting. This happens to my iphone 2g all the time. Try resetting the ipod touch and then entering the app. The reset should clear the itouch's cache and give you enough memory to run the app.

How to Auto Install Cydia on your iPod touch

To Cydia app, you need to jailbreak your iPod Touch. Jailbreaking is the process to access the Unix file system on your iTouch. This access allows you to install third party applications that are not manufactured or approved by Apple, such as Cydia. Depending on how you can unlock your iTouch have Cydia installed. However, if Cydia is not installed, you must download and install Cydia application itself. To do this you need to get Cydia Installer (which will be on your iPod Touch, since it is jailbroken). Once you have Cydia on your iTouch, you will be capable of various applications such as downloading games, programs, call blocking and different skins.

1. Touch the "Cydia Installer" on your iTouch. Tap the "Sources" icon.

2. Tap "Edit" then "Add".

3. Type "apptapp.saurik.com." This screen will refresh your sources.

4. Tap the icon next to "Install source Saurik."

5. Touch the "System" to open the folder, tap on "Install Cydia".

6. Wait until the application is fully charged Cydia, click "I Agree" after reading the terms and conditions.

7. Tap "Upgrade Essentials" for the latest updates for Cydia for download.
I have an iTouch, how do I know what applications - free or paid - will work with iTouch - I see iPod, iPhone, iPad, but not iTouch....thanks

Generally in the itunes store under requirements it tell you that the application is compatible with either iphone, ipod touch or ipad. You should note that the ipod touch is what you seem to call the itouch.

I restored my itouch but itunes still wont recognize it

You may need to reset the driver
and then possibly update your itouch firmware to get it working again....
-Close any other open programs
-Unplug the iTouch and any other NON-ESSENTIAL USB devices from the computer (i.e. PRINTER, CAMERA, etc.)
-Open the iTUNES application and leave it on during this process, you may minimize the program if you'd like though!

-click on your Start Menu
go to Control Panel
click on System icon [computer w a check]
goto the tab that says Hardware
then the Device Manager button (alternatively, u can access the device manager by opening up the RUN command and typing in "CONTROL.EXE SYSTEM" and hit ENTER)
-Under DEVICE MANAGER, click on universal serial bus controlers
to expand the catagory
then you itouch should be in there
it may be under a name like "USB
Mass Storage Device"
then click [up/plus on the toolbar] and choose
the unistall driver option[computer with an X]
(don't worry, your data on the iTouch will be fine!)

-Next plug your itouch back in it should
recognize it
Now then, try to update the firmware through Apple

Applications that i added open then close immediately. I downloaded applications both from the computer and from the itouch itself, restarting, and resetting. Very Frustrating!

When an app closes immediately this is known as the app "crashing." The first thing you should do is make sure that your itouch has the latest software update available. This can be done by hooking the unit up to itunes, and clicking the update button. Also try restoring the unit with itunes. You will lose all of the data on the itouch, so make sure you have all your data backed up with itunes. If you have any further questions feel free to contact www.wiredextreme.com.

Itouch applications won't turn on.

I had exactly the same problem, you have to sync them on itunes. Plug in your itouch, open itunes and make sure it is the version with an applications section in the libary. Then click on your itouch in Devices go to the end applications tab and you have to sync them. This worked for me.

Downloading applications to ipod touch

Hi, The easiest way to download to your iTouch is directly to your iTouch via the Apple Store. The Apple Store icon is already on your iTouch. Just make sure you are near an internet connection via Airport or Wi Fi. Click on "Download" on the selected app, and then wait a couple of seconds. Your iTouch will indicate when the download is done and the app is installed. You will see the new icon on your your screen page.
If you install from your computer, you will have to plug your iTouch into the computer and use the iTunes app to control what you download.
I hope that helps. Shari Dyer
