I presume that you mean the the numerals on the face of the watch have fallen off.

This being the case, then try your nearest watch repair shop, as the only special bit is getting the watch apart, which should be within the ability of any watch repairer.

After that it is only a matter of a very small amount of glue and great care, not really a case for sending it back to the suppliers.

I have a F ossil Arkitekt (fs-2990) that is a several years old. I removed the back and the battery to change out the battery and noticed that one of the numeral bars on the face has dislodged itself. in...

The knob that adjusts the time is called the crown, and it will have a stem attached to it. You will need to remove crown and stem together.
If it's a screw-down crown, unscrew it.
Examine the watch mechanism very carefully while pulling out the crown (as if you were adjusting the time) and pushing it back, What you are looking for is basically anything that moves. If you do see parts of the mechanism move, look very carefully around that area for an arrow mark impressed in the metal pointing to a small dip in one of the metal parts.Often, this is on a tiny lever but not all manufacturers bother with the arrow.
Ensure that the crown is pushed back to it's normal position. Put a tiny amount of pressure on the dip (a needle is ideal for this), and carefully attempt to pull out crown and stem. You may need to apply slightly more pressure to get a result, but please take care not to press too hard or you may damage the mechanism.
Hopefully, that should sort it out. To refix the numeral bar, I'd recommend super glue - but you only need a tiny, tiny amount. Apply it with the tip of a needle and you shouldn't go far wrong.
Once you're looking at reassembly, you should be able to reinsert the crown and stem without depressing the dip but do it gently and don't force it - it may need a slight turn to relocate properly before it slides back in.

I hope this was easy to follow - get back in touch if you get stuck.

What if I live in bristol and do not know which option, time to choose from to keep time upmost accurate london or GMT

The main difference, as I understand it, between London time and GMT is London time will shift for DST (daylight savings time) and GMT will not. Therefore, London time is probably your best bet.

Stauer watch will not work after battery change.

I have no ideal how old your watch is nor where you had the battery changed. Ideally I would take back to whom changed the battery to see if it was a good battery. If your watch is older it may be time for an adjustment.
Contace Stauer for further assistance at link following:

Good luck.

How can I get the DKNY Urban Face Watch NY1135

  • There is a store in London but their web site says that "all items may not be sold in all stores". You could try your local watch shop, who may be able to get the watch you want.

I need to get the crystal out so i can fix one of the numerals that came loose

Do not do that! Open your watch's caseback, then pull out the crown with stem and the movement will come out with the dial fitted on it.
Do not force the stem out - there is the special point (usually marked with an arrow) where to push to get the stem out.
If you gonna try to get the glass out you will brake it or will not be able to fit it back. Definetely.

    Rate, please.
