Washer is filling with clean water

Yes, the water inlet valve is leaking and letting water in past a faulty seal. The valve just needs replacing with a new one. They are not serviceable.

AEG dishwasher draining too early / unexpectedly

The hose could be clogged or an issue with the valve assembly.Or something being stuck in the inlet water valve. Check to see if there is any problems coming from where the water enters into the tub for your dishwasher mostly on the left side wall of the tub on your dishwasher.

Are error codes standard for the same brand/ different models ? Are they standard between brands ? I have a AEG dishwasher model favorit 50879 sensorlogic that gives an error code.

Some companies share generic codes like 'Lw', for low water level or 'DL' for Door Lock. This might help, there are other sites when Googling 'make model error codes'.

My dishwasher aeg favorit 50870 not use hot water(not do hot water)

If the water isn't getting hot, then either the water inlet valve that opens the hot water is faulty or the heating element that heats the machine may be bad.

AEG 250 operating manual

hi friend,
step 1
Remove any large food deposits from the dishes to prevent damaging the dishwasher.
  • Step 2 Load the upper rack of the dishwasher with smaller items, such as glasses, cups and cookware lids. The items must be inserted face down, with the soiled side of each item facing toward the bottom of the dishwasher. Some dishwasher models feature clips, which can be used to secure lightweight items to the tines of the upper rack. The clips work like clothesline pins, and can be moved from one tine to another.
  • Step 3 Load the lower rack of the dishwasher with heavier items, such as plates, bowls and pans. Insert the items between the tines of the rack with the soiled side of each item facing toward the center of the dishwasher.
  • Step 4 Load the silverware basket. The silverware should be inserted into the basket with some items facing up and some facing down to ensure the items do not fit together, which would prevent the dishwasher from being able to clean all surfaces. Knives should be inserted blade down, so they can be inserted and removed from the dishwasher with the handle to avoid injury.
  • Step 5 Add detergent to the dishwasher, and then close the dishwasher's door. Note that the dishwasher has two detergent sections. One dispenser, called the main wash section, has a lid. Open the main wash section's lid by pressing down on the cover latch located next to the section. Fill the main wash section with 3 tbsp. of automatic dishwasher powdered detergent, then close the lid until it snaps into place. The other detergent section is the prewash section. It does not have a lid, because the detergent within the section empties into the dishwasher when the door is closed. Fill the prewash section with 2 tbsp. of automatic dishwasher powdered detergent. Close the dishwasher's door until it clicks into place.
  • Step 6 Prime the dishwasher by turning the kitchen sink's faucet on until it produces hot water. This will ensure the dishwasher has an immediate supply of hot water.
  • Step 7 Start the dishwasher by choosing and pressing the appropriate wash-cycle button, located on the front of the dishwasher's door. Cycle selections include "POTS --N- PANS," "HEAVY" for heavily soiled items, "NORMAL" for standard washing, "CRYSTAL/CHINA" for delicate items, "LOW ENERGY" for lightly soiled items and "RINSE ONLY" for items that will not be washed immediately.

AEH Favorit 50730 dishwasher seems to work fine other than the water never gets hot. Is it easy to replace the heating element or whatever that could be faulty?

If this dishwasher is a residential dishwasher the water that is supplied to the unit is from the hot water side of the sink supply. The dishwasher does not heat the water it uses water from the water heater that is connected to the house. It sounds as if the dishwasher is hooked up to the cold water supply instead of the hot water supply. The heating element you see in the dishwasher is for drying purposes and not for heating water. I would check the hot water supply for your dishwasher to see if that could be the problem. Also remember unless you have a recirculating pump on the hot water there will be an amount of water in the pipe from the water heater and the dishwasher that has sat and cooled down over a period of time therefore when you turn on the dishwasher you will not get hot water immediately due to the distance the dishwasher is from the water heater. You will notice when you turn on the hot water to thew sink you do not get hot water right away you let it run for a minute before it gets hot since the dishwasher is connected to the same valve as your hot water to the sink it acts the same way.
Good luck on your repairs hope this helped.

This "Inductive heating element"is in line with the pipe feeding the top spray arm. it is about 15cm long and has a clamp at each end with one electrical push on connecter. It can be reached by taking off the back bottom plate and just follow the spayarm down to this device.
