I recieve a message when trying to use my pixma cannon ip 90 that reads the color cartrige is empty, so i replaced it. still gettin message and wont print.....please help dallas44432@yahoo

Go into control panel, and right click on your printer and select properties. Under maintenance you will find the reset to show the inks as new. Also if you open the top cover while connected to your computer and then try to print a window will pop up asking if you put in new ink, answer yes and tell it which ink is new and it will be reset.

check the the cartridge of your printer it might need cleaning, and be careful of inserting the cartridge because sometimes the mechanical connections between the printer heads and the cartridges is damage and that is why sometimes the printer cannot read the printer cartridges.

U130 ink message on pixma mp620


Very simple solution: When the pixma mp620 screen shows error U130, Hold down the stop (red triangle) key for about 7 - 10 seconds. This overrides/turns off the ink monitoring function. The printer will begin "thinking" for a bit and then start printing. Note: you may have to do this seperately for each color. You'll also notice that when the lid is open and the cartridges are in position for changing, the cartridges that used to be "out" are no longer flashing red, nor a stead red. They are dark.

Color prints out photos in stripes


if you are getting stripes in photos then there is a problem with cartrige, take a cotton swab and dip it in water and clean the cartridge head and then try, and if still the same problem exist replace the color cartrige.

Emptied out both black and color ink cartridges. Replaced black ink only. Printer is not printing. Getting flashing E and 5 on printer. Does this mean the printer will not function until I replace the...


You should maybe replace the color cartrige even if it`s empty just so the printer recognize that it have both slots taken.Then try to print out in black/white.

Will not print. color ink cartridge light keeps

Cannon pixma 1500 printer stopped printing color ink is full


Print a test pattern print first to make sure that the problems is the printer and not the file you are trying to print , then check you color cartridge if it's empty.

My printer says that it is out of ink on the color side

Cannon Pixma MP500 - Waste Ink Reset


I don't belive there is a reset device for the MP500 tanks. However, when you get the empty error message, just follow the instructions about pressing OK as many times as it asks for (I think it is four time). At that point, you can continue to use the cartridges. The printer will no longer keep track of the ink level. You will have to do that yourself. But, you can continue to use the printer with all colors.
