I know how to do it but I am receiving this error message. There is plenty of room on the MP3 player. The directory or file can not be created. I am trying to copy it from Windows Media Player. I have just over 1 GB left on the player. Any assistance would eb appreciated.

Can I change the extension from MP3 to WMA to make it work? The ones that were successfully copied are all wma. The ones that didn't look like mp3.

How are you attempting to add the songs? Also are they in MP3 format?
From what the manual said all you should have to do is install the software on the cd that came with your player.
Once that is finished, slide the hold button to the ON position on the player.
Connect it to your computer VIA USB cable. If it does not open automatically go to Computer (or My Computer in XP) and double click on the device icon.
Once the player is open you can click on the media and drag it into the box which is the player. Or you can also highlight several items at once and then right click and select copy. Once copied you can go to the player screen and right click and select Paist.
If this is not your issue or does not resolve your issue Please do let me know.

What is the source of the songs (Computer or CD)? Are you getting an error message when trying to transfer songs?

If you know how to transfer songs from a computer or CD but your MobiBlue did not accept it, you need to check the memory capacity of the player and the size of the songs. Make sure that you have enough memory space to load songs.

But if you're trying to transfer songs, but don't know how to do it. Here's how:

- Let say that the songs are in a folder in your computer.
- Connect your player to the computer and let the computer detect the player.
- The computer will assign a drive letter for your player (i.e. D: E: I:)
- Now, if you know the drive letter of the player, go to the folder where the songs are.
- Right-click the song that you would like to copy > select "Send To" and then select the drive letter of the player.

Please let me know if you have more questions regarding this issue.

Thank you and have a great day!

I see. Thank you for your response.

This error means that the file format of the songs that you are trying to transfer is not supported by the player.

Example: If the player supports .mp3 file format but the songs from Windows Media Player have a file format of .wmv, then the player would not recognize it.

You have to refer to the user manual of the player and see the supported file formats for songs. And only the songs with supported file formats would work.

    Thank you!

Sorry, I just read your e-mail. Yes you can convert the songs from Windows Media File format to .mp3 format. However, you need to download a third party video and file converter.

Check the link below and have an idea about it:

    Thank you!

Download the firmware updater from the mobiblu site
Install the software, connect the player via the USB cable, set the switch to hold and run the updater. When it is finished, stop the device and disconnect it. When you power up, it will be back to factory settings (any data/music will be erased).

Hanging

The reset switch has to be operated using a pin or paper clip. There is a small hole beside the USB socket. If it keeps happening update the software as follows.

System error

TPeter 1/14/08

mobiBLU has a "software fix" for this problem. I had the same thing happen to my player. I had to return the machine to them. When I received the machine back, they said that I could have downloaded a program from them. So I went to their site and did. When I returned my player to mobiBLU, they had it for only about 3 hours and put it back in the mail! I shipped it USPS with a "confirmation Return Receipt". It showed delivery at 12:34 PM..and the Return E-mail from them was dated (same day) at 2:57 PM. PRETTY FAST..HUH! I have the Program in my computer. It came zipped. I opened it and ran it. Fixed the problem right off. You can call mobi BLU and I am sure they will e-mail you the program. It is only 2.22 MB. The program IS:
Firmware file version 4.0.100.1190 It even says **SYSTEM ERROR FIX** DAH-1900 Updater M110 060424.exe This Updater Program also has all the "PODDER" stuff on it too! I don't know enough about my computer or I would E-mail it to you!

Good Luck

Reload the firmware. The firmware gets a hiccup after repeating songs/switching through songs quickly. Make sure you take your mp3s off before you reload the firmware for the songs will be deleted.
