Question about Microsoft Windows Vista Home Basic Edition for PC

The system keeps rebooting itself

I am using Toshiba Satellite with Vista Home installed.When I leave the PC running it seems to reboot itself,causing loss of work I was doing at the time.
I have Kaspersky Internet security and Registry booster installed

Windows is corrupt
or
RAM card inside is corrupt

Toshiba Satellite 1115 S103 can't install Windows XP home edition


after it reboots it will ask you to boot from cd,

ignore this and let it boot from harddrive, where it has already copied the files to... it should setup ok from there

TOSHIBA SATELLITE PROA200 NOT REBOOTING AFTER A PARTION


You will have to get into the bios (tap F2 after you turn the laptop on) and insure that the first boot device is the optical drive (cdrom), then you should be able to utilize the recovery dvd.

Laptop boots up then after reaching desktop it reboots, reboots..


You need to reinstall your OS as Vista is currupt.
Boot with the system recovery cd that came with your system and reinmstall to factory default.

Atheros wireless problem


Ok, if your using Vista, what i want you to do is right click "computer" select "manage" and then "device manager", then click on the + sign next to "network adapters" and right click on the wireless network and "un-install" the device, reboot the PC and wait for windows to detect the wireless card and install the drivers for it, this will appear in the system tray (bottom right hand side) when its done try to connect again

SYSTEM REBOOTS AFTER SHUTTING DOWN


It seems that when you formatted, you took your Bios settings with it. The latest bios can be obtained from toshibas website....Below is a direct link to the bios.

When I first trying system recovery the recovery would complete and when rebooting it hang at mup.sys in the drivers, now I get this error 10E716045D.

Reboot :S system restore


to reboot u will need a os system installation cd e.g windows xp,vista now to restore the computer go to start menue then programmes/accesories/systems tolls and there u have it system recovery
