Question about HP Mini 1000 Netbook
I was turning off my netbook, but as it was shutting down, it started to install updates (which was what it usually did). Now, I know that you weren't supposed to shut the comp. off or unplug it while it was installing. However, I accidentally stepped on the laptop's cord, thus, unplugged it. Now, whenever I turn my laptop on, it's said, "BOOT MNG is compressed. Press Alt+control+del to restart." That's exactly what I did and it always showed the HP sign with "F9 to change BIOS...", "F10 to..." I pressed F10 and ran a diagnostic, nothing seemed to be diagnosed as defected. But then my laptop won't start up either. It will either stay as "BOOT MNG is compressed..." or "Press F10..." or "Press F9" What shall I do now? Thank you.
Press power botton then F8. few option there. select " last known good configuration ...." select & press enter & again enter. Systen start run again. If you found the same error then i suggest formate your OS and reinstalled it.
Thanks, i am waiting for your feed back & if you satisfied then thumps me please.

Connect an external USB CD/DVD drive.
Put in a Windows operating system CD or DVD. I'm not sure it matters which one in this case.
Boot up the computer using the CD.
When the first set of choices come up, type in "R" to get the Recovery Console.
When the Recovery console comes up, type:
Then remove the CD and reboot.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
