Question about D-Link 802.11g Wireless Router WBR-1310 (WBR1310)

1 Answer

No connection the wireless connection says, no adapter found. I have been using this DLink connection in various areas of the house and now it won't work. It seemed to start when I installed a wireless mouse(could be a coincidence). One of the answers I get is that I need a strong USB The others all say no adapter and yet everything was working! I'm wondering if the teeth are bad

Check when u insert wireless adapter in usp port, does any light comes on or not on the adapter itself
if it comes and it still does not work then try to uninstall and reinstall the drivers for this adapter in ur pc
and if no lights come on , then also try to uninstall and reinstall the drivers and also check it device manager whether the usb port is enabled or not

Linksys USB adapter not working

Check your device setting on the adapter and make sure they are set to get IP automatically. The check the router and verify that it is set to assign address by DHCP and that you have not exceeded your capacity. Some providers may have set a limit and the new device is not getting an address because there is not a free address. Your other option would be to assign the IP manually and connect. You might also try changing the channel your router is using to communicate on. This has been an issue with channel 6 on Cisco routers and HP machines in my area.

Connected a 2wire adapter, downloaded driver, but does not connect to my dlink n router, I have 3 other computers in my house all wireless that has no problem connecting, is this a 2wire problem or is it...

Make sure the N router is also sending a broadcast for B/G mode, as the 2wire adapters do not support N technology. You can login to your router by typing "home" or "" or "" in your web browser and check the wireless settings on your Dlink to see if it supports these methods.
