My screen is stuck half out and the faceplate won't work either. The remote is the only way to operate it.
Also, has anyone taken one apart to replace the position motor???
Thanks in advance.....

Re: Screen stuck half out!!!
Contact Pioneer to send it in for defective ribbon cable. They will fix it for one time for free. But if you did the video bypassed then you have a problem on your hand. Contact me at 801-414-4566 and I can help you fix the problem, I have helped many people before with this problem. Good luck.

Your problem is the wires in the unit that hooks to the connection plate to the face plate there is a wire that burned up and not making the connection, youll see the wires when you put faceplate on and tilt your screen its like a orangish yellow wires that is hooked into the slot that your faceplate connects to a wire has burnt up probably caused by the brake wire that wasnt hooked up or from pulling off the faceplate to many times HAD TWO OF THESE DO THE SAME THING neither one I had ,had brake wire hooked up and probably caused it to short out.

i have found the reason why the screen become stuck half way when opening up, the screws i used to hold the dvd in place in the dashboard was too long, thus it was messing with the monitor. the recommended size screw is only suppose to be 3 mm long. hope this help anyone with screen problems
